We had a very good experience with this amazing B&B. About the B&B: The view from our terrace was amazing, mountains on all directions and very clean air as the quote is 1400 meters. Rooms are extremely clean and there was plenty of space. Food was very good and price reasonable, very good wines! About Herbert: He'd been very hospitable...

This was our second visit. The Hotel is in a beautiful quiet setting & you can do any number of walks straight from it. Herbert, the proprietor is absolutely charming and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great relaxing time. The food, cooked by his Mother is excellent and just what you need after a...

I dont normally review hotels but feel that I must comment on this gem of a guest house in Oberinn(South Tirol). I had been there briefly alone a few years ago but made the effort to look it up again as my wife was coming with me this time. It is located about 20-30 minutes south of Bolzano in a...

This is a nice gasthof with beautiful views. We had planned to stay for 4 nights to hike and relax. On our first day back from hiking (3pm) on Mt Ritter we wanted to relax in our room. However the heat was not turned on, and the room was cold. We were chilled and things were not pleasant so I...

Everything is truly amazing at Ploerr! I wouldn't know where to start, so I'll let Tripadvisor criteria guide me! Service: Vigl family truly knows how to make guests feel welcome and at ease! food was always outstanding from breakfast to dinner. Also I am lactose intolerant and for every meal I had a lactose free choice (a scrumptious one!). Herbert,...

Our second visit, as perfect as the first. Perhaps even more so as the bedrooms and en-suites are now re-furbished. A 20 minute drive up a very windy road from Bolzano its simple, spotlessly clean and has wonderful views from the balconies. Ploerr is small, 11 rooms, still a working farm - father takes over the small bar most evenings...

Very nice rooms, very nice breakfast and dinner, the place is amazing and above all the hospitality of the owners. We highly recommended and we decided even though we have stayed in many places in dolomites that Berggasthof Ploerr will be the only one we will certainly go back again.

Set in the Alpine fresh region of the Dolomites, Ploerr is the perfect destination for those seeking a rural, picturesque retreat; characteristic of south Tyrol. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with delightful views and the staff friendly and polite. The food is tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced too. Above all though, is the exceptional service offered by Herbert (son...

We were looking for a nice Pension in the area where we have been a number of times before. Ploerr turned out to be just what we were looking for. The family Vigl made us feel at home and each day we had expert help finding our walks. During this trip we stayed in five places and hiked over 190...

“Most rooms are south-facing. They all have balconies. We stayed in a west facing room, which meant shining sun until sunset, but also plenty of shade, if you wish!”

“Front south facing rooms have the best view. May be a little too quiet for young children”
