I stayed at Punta Civita at the weekend, as my friend was getting married in Ravello and form the moment I arrived I felt at home ! Roberto and Nada are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble from arranging hair appointments with Gerado in Ravello for the wedding, providing lots of white wine, to his top tips to...

The place is great, the view from the terrace fantastic and Roberto very helpful. I was in the Junior suite for two nights and the room is new, clean and well equipped. All this for 140€ incl Breakfast. I recommand also A Paranza, very good restaurant in Atrani.

My husband, teenage daughter, and I stayed at Punta Civita for three nights in early April, and we could not have been more pleased. All of the positive things you read on this site are true: the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious (in our case, even with an extra bed inserted), the setting is spectacular, the continental breakfast is...

My husband and I have just returned from 4 days at this wonderful b&b, run by Roberto Lucibello and his wife. Although set a little way out of Ravello (which can be reached easily by bus or, for those strong of leg, via the 45-minute walk up steep steps!), this b&b offers everything you could want from a holiday base...

Excellent service in this small B&B along the road to Ravello. The owner was extremely helpful in advicing us how to get to Ravello with the bus and how to continue to Positano. The rooms were also very nice and clean. However, if you want to be in Ravello city center this is not there-

We had a lovely time at Punta Civita. Roberto was wonderful - upon our arrival from Rome, he immediately offered us a bottle of wine and two wine glasses to enjoy out on the terrace - free of charge! Our room opened right on to the terrace, and breakfasts there were definitely a highlight. Another was the hike up to...

If you want a real Amalfi Coast experience then this is the place to stay. As said in most other reviews, Roberto is truely a lovely host. Visiting in March it seemed we were the only tourists around, this gave us the opportunity to see and do all things in true Italian style. The room we stayed in was exceptionally...

We stayed in this delightful B & B during the first week of November 2006. The establishment was recommended by friends who speak just as highly of their time there as we do. Host Roberto is a most helpful and delightful person to be with and nothing is a trouble to him. The rooms are immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast...

Roberto and his family are waiting to welcome you to their B & B and we recommend that you go, if you are staying in the Ravello area. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-appointed, and the sea-facing rooms have superb views. He does charge a little extra for some things (parking, the fridge in the room, some elements of...

This B&B was one of the best we've stayed at in Italy. The room was spacious and clean; the views from our patio were spectacular; the B&B was quiet; and the host, Roberto, was ideal. We did not have a car and hiked, trained, and bused our way around. The B&B is not in Ravello central, but a 45 minute...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The name "Punta Civita "draws it's origin from it's spectacular location on the Gulf which today hosts many tourists from all over the world but at one time served as a lookout to guard from the invasions of the Saraceni. " Civita " is indeed noted in historical documents from the year 876 when it made part of the "Castellum de Supramonte "first defense outpost on the sea of the city of Ravello Once the original building of a wine cellar dating back to the 19th century, rooms were added using ancient construction techniques in the early 1960s. Thus was born a typical Mediterranean home overlooking the gulf, amidst lemon groves, grape vines and typical flowers and vegetation of the Amalfi Coast. The floors and tiles are handmade ceramics from Vietri, family antique furniture and artifacts adorn each room, while careful attention has been paid to every detail, it is the passion and personal warmth of the owners that transformed this house into a B& B in 2003. One of our guests, Francesca N. put it best when she sent this memory to us after her stay: "Punta Civita is a small paradise! It is like brilliant emerald stone set in a cliff. The rooms are both beautiful and spacious and Roberto's genuine warm hospitality is like non other on the Amalfi Coast. The mild climate, the scenic, panoramic views from the terrace, the good food and friendly embrace of the owners all contribute to making this B&B a wonderful spot to visit now and then so as not to lose sight of the things that matter in this phrenetic life! " Punta Civita is the ideal place for a declaration of love, a honey moon, an anniversary, for inspiration or just simply to read a good book... ... more   less
