From contacting VSM to book our time, to saying our good-byes, this was a wonderful and very special place to stay. Emiliano and Nicola were wonderful hosts . . . . The views were spectacular, the villa was in a location that was so central to the Amalfi Coast. Easy to get buses, and if using taxis, the drivers were...

Villa San Michele is a quiet and lovely place closeby the water. Rooms are furnished quite honestly, its style fits to the blue water and the coast you see when looking out of the window. Nicola and his team are obliging hosts answering all the questions you have. After having visited the marvelous countryside, the cosy villages or the historic...

I booked my stay at this place because of the photos on Tripadvisor and I wanted to test my camera and take nice pix of the sea. When I got to the reception area, it was not very impressive. The owner -- I think his name was Nicolo, was quite rude, and I remember he was sarcastic over the phone...

Dear Sir - Madam, I'm very disappointed in reading this review. It's a little bit funny to tell that I don't remember about any problem with guests who stayed with us in July and I believe that if I was as you describe, we'd see a lot of bad comments posted here. Reality is done by the majority of the...

We discovered the San Michele in 1993 when we spent our honeymoon in Italy. It was during our stay at the San Michele while laying out in the sun by the sea that we vowed to return every 5 years, no matter what. We have just returned from our 4th stay at San Michele and continue to rank it as...

We stayed here for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and we could not have found a more perfect place. The hotel was so pretty and secluded and our room was gorgeous. The food was delicious, home cooked by Nicola's wife each evening. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and they helped make our stay even more enjoyable. It...

We just loved this very pretty hotel, wonderfully located on the waters edge with a bathing platform leading directly into the crystal clear sea. Our room was big with a fabulous balcony and a wonderful view. The evening meals were excellent, offering two choices for each course. and great local wines - again the restaurant had a lovely view. Of...

We absolutely loved Villa San Michele. It is located in Ravello, just minutes from all the sights including Amalfi and Positano and all the beautiful towns in the area. It's not high up in Ravello but a perfect location pretty close to sea level. Directly across the street is a shop where you can purchase food/drinks if needed and other...

About 4 years ago the Sunday Times in the UK featured the Villa San Michelle as a reasonable comparison against another hotel in Amalfi(which was expensive). I kept the details and decided to book the Villa San Michelle for our honeymoon. As you know, you are never to sure what you have booked until you actually arrive. All concerns were...

If you are looking for a peaceful haven to relax and unwind-then look no further. This family-owned and run hotel tucked on the edge of a seaside cliff below the road to Ravello offers beautiful, unobstructed sea views from each room. The rooms are clean and simply decorated. Emiliano, Nicola and extended family have created a relaxed atmosphere. They are willing...

My sister, mum and I stayed here earlier this year... and I have to admit guiltily that we agreed we loved it so much that we didn't want to share it with the world .. it was so gorgeous, so unbelievably breathtakingly beautiful that we wanted to keep it to ourselves... while people pay a fortune to stay in stuffy...
