Set in a former hotel, this is a very stylish and beautiful building. Our spacious, ensuite room had lots of quirky features and a very comfortable bed. Although close to the road, it was very quiet at night. The weather wasn't really conducive to sitting outside, which was a pity, as there's a lovely sun terrace overlooking the valley of Ragusa Ibla. The well-equipped kitchen is useful, if you need to make a drink or try cooking with some of the wonderful local produce. However what makes this place special, is Eugenio. He's incredibly passionate about Sicily and has a vast knowledge, which he is keen to share. He was really helpful, providing us with ideas and information. All his recommendations were flawless; from the superb pizza restaurant nearby to the gelato cafe and the day trip suggestion to Marina di Ragusa. He is a wonderful warm and funny person and made our stay very memorable. We highly recommend staying here. Grazie Mille!

This is a lovely & beautifully furnished hostel with plenty of social spaces, two terraces, large kitchen / dining space and the chill out area. The decor is minimal / retro and very cool. The hostel is VERY clean and has plenty of bathrooms. Spacious and stylish with high ceilings, the space has clearly been designed to be aesthetically pleasing but also practical. Location is also very handy for both - transport links & the old city. The owner & staff were very helpful and friendly, and I had A LOT of questions! Overall 10 out of 10 - One of the best hostels I ever stayed in.

Convenient location near the train station and only a short walk -- a stunning breath-taking walk -- to the old historical city center (Ibla). Professional, very friendly and helpful staff, nice basic breakfast. Dorms, toilets, showers and common areas are spotless clean. The 6-bed-dorm is very spacious, with lockers and individual lights. I did not hear any noise from the outside and only very little from the inside. The rooftop is amazing, and so is the balcony/terrace next to the kitchen: they invite to chill and enjoy the view! Possibly because it's an historical building, build upon rocks (and during my stay it rained a few times), there was a musty-smell in the female dorm. Although the windows were open, it did not go away.

Stayed 3 nights in PRIVATE DOUBLE ROOM which has en-suite. It’s more like a boutique hotel room. Ultra confortable. No friction points. Same goes across whole property. They put a lot of attention to detail to make sure it’s a comfortable stay. New high quality fittings and linen. Huge indoor and outdoor communal areas. Large highly functional kitchen (this was a highlight). Generally very spacious. It was truly a joy to stay here. Staff go out of their way to make your Ragusa stay as optimal as possible, w for example recommendations. They also respond immediately to the WhatsApp of the mobile listed on website. This clinched booking place for me. Great rates when contact in Winter. Very efficiently run place in total. STAY HERE!
