This small, quaint, family-run hotel is spectacular. The rooms are not large, but are sufficient enough to house the two of us comfortably, but the must-see in the balcony with the most incredible views. Talamo is perched about halfway up the hill, not too far, but far enough to know you've walked a few steps during the day (probably 5... More

We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Talamo, primarily for the warm welcome we received every day by this welcoming Italian family. We were greeted with a generous breakfast (made by the mother of the family) with a wide assortment of homemade Italian pastries and foods, canned and fresh fruit, yogurt, deli meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. The... More

Nestled into the cliffs of Positano about halfway up the hill this small family hotel feels truly Italian. Rooms are snug but each has a balcony and the views are vast and outdoor living space is a bonus. Our room was lemon yellow with local tile floors symbolic of the regional specialties. Several adjacent restaurants offered great dinners il Capitan... More

Generally a perfect stay at the Palazzo Talamo. Check in was easy and our room was ready earlier that expected which is always a nice surprise. The room was clean with a lovely balcony looking over the bay. Enough space for us to have our 2 big suitcases open and a wardrobe if your staying for longer (we stayed for... More

Lovely family run hotel overlooking the beautiful town of Positano, really amazing location with breathtaking views and our room was lovely big and light with a gorgeous bathroom and balcony. Fantastic inspiration for an artist. The rooms were spacious and the shower was good and even a seat to sit down on. The staff were welcoming and friendly and packed... More

Situated up, directly across from D'Vincenzo restaurant and between El Capitan and Cafe Positano, the room terraces provide breathtaking views of the sea below. A nice breakfast is served in their sun room. Our room #11 had beautiful Vietri tiles and was very clean. The bed was comfortable & good water pressure. The entire hotel is very clean. We stayed here... More

Booked really quite last minute during peak holiday season for a VERY reasonable price compared to all prices previously seen-must have been a late cancellation. Amazing location, breathtaking views, lovely big room and gorgeouts balcony. Only downside was that someone kept dragging chairs etc. around in the early morning on the floor above us. Positano is such a special place,... More

Lovely family run hotel overlooking the beautiful town of Positano. The rooms were spacious and the shower was good. The staff were welcoming and friendly, giving us excellent recommendations for dinner. Try the Caffe Positano across the road. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options including cornettos, eggs, fruit, cakes and meats. Really nice hot chocolates too! I would recommend... More

We loved our room - perfect location and view over the water. It was clean and had plenty of space. The service however was not great. The lady on reception was always 'busy'... Every time I came to the desk for help she was either on her personal phone to a friend or having a cigarette on the balcony. When... More

Clean simple rooms, bathroom with the most incredible view from the shower. Good breakfast choice and comfortable beds. Would love to return. Only criticism, very loud obnoxious Americans spoilt the last few days as they were in the room next door.
