We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Italy and this was our favourite hotel. The room was very large, clean, well appointed, and had its own private balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The staff were lovely. In the weeks leading up to our arrival, Lucio was very helpful in organising a transfer for us from Pompeii. The...

A really quaint little hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Great location with the beach, restaurants and shops only a few steps away. We stayed in a comfortable room on the top floor with a small balcony and splendid sea views. Continental breakfast served with great cappuccinos. Breakfast room can be a little on the small size when...

Loved, loved, loved this place! The location is perfect as you are in the pedestrian area and don't have to walk numerous stairs with your suitcase. The rooms overlook the sea, each has a small balcony. Beds are comfortable. They serve drinks anytime you ask, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, they will make you reservations for dinner. So...

The whole experience in Positano was lovely. Despite the small difficulty of getting to locate the hotel (with few questions the natives found), after getting off the bus that brought us from Sorrento, our stay at Villa La Tartana was very pleasant. Great staff and breakfast, beautiful room and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was unforgettable. Great location,...

A friendly welcome at this small, B&B, with helpful staff and immaculate rooms. We had a ground floor room (26) with small balcony and partial sea view (view obscured by property in front). Breakfast is served in very small area next to reception - excellent coffee and the fresh mozzarella was delicious. Building located in pedestrianized lower part of town...

I stayed here for two nights on a solo trip to explore and unwind in Positano. I would highly recommend this hotel and will book again if I ever return! Location: the location is excellent. It's tucked away on one of the cobblestone streets, right in the heart of Positano and steps away from the beach. One thing of note...

We actually stayed here summer of 2016 and I forgot to write a review! Terrific little hotel with very yummy breakfast and coffees, clean and comfy rooms, and pretty views. Surprisingly quiet, too. The staff was warm and wonderful! Location top notch.

I stayed here for seven nights in Sept. 2016 and loved, loved, loved this hotel! Yes, it is beautiful and my stay was perfect! We had rooms 29 and 31 on the top floor with sea view balconies. The rooms are simply, but nicely furnished and immaculately clean. The a/c works great. The real star is the balcony with view...

Our room had a balcony (albeit very tiny) but it did have a great view of the water (the second day we noticed we had a small terrace off the washroom, larger but without a view). The staff were very kind and helpful in making dinner reservations. The location is very good with numerous shops and restaurants in the vicinity....

On my recent stay in October, we were welcomed as special guest, meeting all our needs. All requests were followed up promptly with excellent recommendations. Alicia and Sarah are both wonderful at the front desk, all our breakfasts were presented tastefully and with pride.

Villa "La Tartana" faces the beautiful sea of Positano. It takes only a few minutes to reach the famous "Spiaggia Grande" going down the Lion Steps. Villa "La Tartana" is a typical Positanasian house. Recently renovated, it has not lost any of its original characteristic architecture, which has instead been enhanced.
