Overall, the hotel is OK, rather dated, about 25 minutes walk from the station. The rooms are reasonably sized, with large beds, and a rusty balcony. It is clean but staff are inattentive as toiletries are not replaced. The food was fine, nothing special, and the restaurant staff very helpful. we enjoyed the pool and beach, free with deckchairs, and 10 minutes walk away. Our holiday was completely spoilt at check -out by the receptionist, who seemed to lack all professionalism. The bill came, we paid then realised it was inaccurate, and we had been charged for too may bottles of wine. We asked to see the itemised bill BUT the scandal is the receptionist refused to show it to us, saying it was in the bin! She was patronising and made no effort to sort it. In the end we had to leave to catch a train. Beware of the practices and ethics of this hotel and ask for an itemised bill.

Nice Hotel located about 700m up from the beach and approx. 1 to 1.5km from the main shopping and restaurant district. They have a shuttle bus to and from the beach 4 times a day. Have to be quick though as it sometimes leaves a bit early! The Hotel, while older style is clean and neat and staffed by very people who speak English and many other languages between them. Food is a very continental breakfast, buffet style, with a la carte lunch and dinner. The food is fresh, Italian cooking with Anti Pasto, 1st and 2nd courses plus desert if you want. You do not have to have them all!! It has a wonderfully large pool with deck chairs and umbrellas all around. Pool hours 9.00am to 6.30pm. There is a supermarket 200m p the road towards the hills which supplies most of what you'll need including spirits and wine for the fridge in the room. Pietra Ligure is centrally located on the Ligure coast and there are some good half day and day trips to adjacent towns for those interested in history. Or room cost us $105 Euro a night for B and B in July - summer holiday period. So good pricing as well.

This hotel was booked at the last minute and for the value I did not have high expectations. Well, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with everything.

The breakfast and dinner which were included were fantastic. The staff, especially Nabil Annita, another young man that worked in the restaurant and Christina, at the front desk could not have been friendlier. They made the stay so welcoming and anything that you may have needed was fulfilled.

The use of the beach was included in the price. You could walk there in 10 minutes although there was a free shuttle. It is a pleasant and safe walk though. The hotel also has a beautiful pool.

This hotel, although rated 3 stars, definitely has 4 star service. Definitely recommend for anyone going to this area.

Although a bit outside of the center, the location is actually excellent since the hotel is located in a residential complex which is very well maintained, safe and peaceful. It takes some 10 minutes walk down the river (actually, there is no river, only an empty river bed) to get to the center and beach. Hotel offers free shuttle their partner beach (also included in the price) in the morning and in the afternoon. Parking is also included in the price (in front of the hotel, or underground garage beside the building).
Rooms are equipped with everything you need: comfortable beds, nice sized bathroom, small balcony, A/C, frigde, safe deposit box... Nothing fency but totally satisfying. Cleaning ladies do a great job!
Full board meals are of very good quality. Each day you have a choice of first and second courses, free salad bar and dessert at the end. Meals are very tasty and include fish and sea food every day.
Some negative points go to breakfast, which is the same every single day: same bread, ham, cheese, croissants and cakes. Some variety would be welcomed! Also, the coffee is nothing special.
In one of the comments someone complained about noisy kids. Unfortunately, I had the same situation the last couple of days: a large group of German kids came and it was difficult to put up with their noise at night. Also, it influenced the quality of food in the restaurant and service at the tables. Although the restaurant staff was incredible, they are definitely understaffed to serve large number of people. All in all, no more than 15 people maintain everything in the hotel.
To conclude, beside some minor remarks, I am generally very satisfied with the stay in Paco hotel and would recommend it.

Though not new, It is a comfy hotel run by nice owners and a reliable well.mannered staff. We've been here twice, both times in the superior room which is quite large and with all amenities. The bathroom is comfortable with a modern shower box. Breakfast is ok, not the best but still with sweet and savory items. All in all a good choice!
