There is no parking nearby, also mentioned that they have a parking - we had a real problem with our luggage. the streets are very narrow to drive by car. The free wifi is only at the reception, not in the room, the stuff didnt help and wasnt nice. will not go there again and would not recommend that hotel

After two weeks in Rome, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I got to my sweet room (24) at Hotel Posta. I immediately fell in love with the friendly bell tower, the Renaissance-evoking furnishings in the room, the sounds of a community living all about. I had time travelled about five hundred years, with the luxury of...

We stopped by to rest during our Vespa tour around Italy. We were received by the kindest receptionist I've seen in years of travelling around Europe. We paid a very fair price for a room with view on the Campanile and a huge breakfast. The hotel was right behind the restaurants street so it was the perfect location to explore...

The rooms are lovely and we'll furnished, the staff super friendly and helpful but we did not have a comfortable stay here. It's was the end of July, very hot and the room had no in conditioning and no fan thus zero air flow. The hotel is also situated directly beneath the clock tower which chimes VERY VERY LOUDLY every...

You should know about this hotel two truthful things. First: the tower really rings. Accept it and relax. And second: it is really good hotel. When we booked it, we were ready to the worst for such small price. It was a pleasant surprise when we have come to be in an excellent ancient building with spacious rooms and excellent...

Yes, the bell tower rung every 15 minutes, 24/7. But I miss it now; it's part of the Orvieto experience. Hotel Posta, described by Rick Steves as "shabby" (and I highly regard Mr. Steves' opinion...) was perfect for me, as a solo traveler. Close to everything. Clean. Room 24 had a private bath AND easy access to the rooftop clothesline...

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, the cathedral and just about anything else there is to see in Orvieto. Be forewarned that the rooms and hotel are basic with older beds, old fixtures and bathrooms down the hall. That being said, the room had some lovely vintage furniture; was wonderfully warm on...

I've stayed a couple of times, the second during some building work but both times it has been charming, comfortable place to stay in the middle of an amazingly beautiful town. It has the feel of a boutiquey type hotel, it looks a bit shabby and unassuming but matches the feel of the town.

I liked this place. It is located in the old city and is very convenient to everything we wanted to see. The room was comfortable. As for the clock tower that everyone likes to complain about, yes, it rings every 15 minutes. It has been ringing every 15 minutes since the 1300's. It seems kind of sad to complain about...

If we had checked the map we would have noticed that Hotel Posta is located a block away from the bell tower Torre del Morro, and another bell tower... one or the other rings ever 15 minutes! 24 hours a day! Mattresses too firm for my taste, typical of european hotels with just a couple stars. I do better on...
