Stayed at hotel for 3 nights with a O/U tour. Location of the hotel makes it an excellent choice for exploring the town. Just down the street from the hotel at the Piazza del Popolo there is a farmers market on Thursdays and Saturdays. Fun to wander around with the locals.

Our room was average in size but it was very quiet. The bathroom was large but the shower was very small. The room cards use chip technology & have to be put in a slot for electricity in the room. Your little refrigerator will stop when you leave the room. The include breakfast was OK. For all of the Italians...

During our recent one-night visit to Orvieto, we stayed at Grand Hotel Italia and it proved to be a good choice. It's main selling point is its location....a very short walk to the piazza, the Duomo, shops, restaurants and scenic walks. It is also very reasonably priced, so a good value. Our room was the largest of any that we...

After staying at another hotel in Italy, we were surprised by the spacious room at the Grand Hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is located in a central location, which made walking around town so easy for us. The bathroom is small, with no place to put toiletries, which I guess is typical of many hotels in...

We chose this hotel for its central location in the historic area. For the price and the location it was adequate. Staff was friendly and informative. Our room was on the fifth floor with a small balcony overlooking the valley. Nothing special about the furnishings and the bed was quite hard. The bathroom was functional although there was a distinct...

Excellent location, spacious room and very helpful staff; good wifi in the lobby. Uninspired breakfast. Our bathroom had 3 can lights and 2 of the 3 were not working. While grand in its proportions and even its decor, our room room was a bit shabby and tired. For the location, spaciousness, and faded glory, I suppose €150 was reasonable.

Warm welcome. Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast offered a delicious variety of treats. The location was wonderful on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of all the lovely attractions. Pick up a bottle of local wine and enjoy the evening breeze on the cozy rooftop patio. It was blooming with glorious orange roses when we were there. The...

We stayed in Orvietto for one night at the Grand Hotel Italia. We had an excellent, spacious room. There was an issue with the shower screen leaking which we reported to the management, we were told this was a known issue and was being addressed. They thanked us for letting them know. The staff were very helpful and helped with...
