Staff were friendly and helpful but struggled with their English. This wasn't a huge problem really until you wanted to know what the fire/emergency routine was and then it was! Didn't find anything on this in the room. No book or any details on the facilities of the hotel or things to do in the area, other restaurants, places to...

If your looking for a place far from the maddening crowd with excellent food and great service then I suggest this resort. It is quiet isolated and apart from laying around relaxing and looking at the scenery which is breath taking there is little else to do. You will need a car to get there but once there you would...

From the pictures on the website and the other reviews, this resort looks like a little treasure, but we were really disappointed. We stayed in the family suite / appartement in a separate little house just beneath the main building. It was roomy, but with a standard far from what is expected of a suite. There was a bad smell...

Booked on hotel tonight after reading Great reviews. It is quite a drive outside of Orvieto, you will need to eat your meals there and hang out there as there really is nothing very close by and it is on a very windy road that I would not recommend walking or riding your bike on, people drive very fast. We...

Very nice accommondation close to the historic town of Orivieto (well worth a visit). Nice restaurant with excellent local Umbrian dishes and nice self-labeled Wines "Griffin´s" , we tested the 2012 Red Blend Merlot-Cabernet Saugvignon, who was excellent. Nice pool area and overall a great accommondation for staying one or two nights.

Lovely building with fantastic views but unfortunately found the accommodation a little soul less as we were the only occupants on two nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the pool was only cleaned on our second last day and prior to this there was green moss around the sides - perhaps it was too early in the...

This is a beautiful relaxing place to stay for a few days. The people are so friendly, beautifully presented small country house, lovely pool and grounds. Fantastic views, even from the shower!! (3rd pic) Set in unspoilt rolling countryside, great for walks and wildlife. Modern style Italian menu v tasty and interesting. Their own wines and olive oil are superb....

firstly, we were surprised at how far away this hotel was from Orvieto, and it did mean we could not access the mediaeval town as much as we would have liked. it states 8km away, but infact is 15km. we had to toss a coin to see which of us woud drive back after a lovely eveing in Orvieto, enjoying...

We stayed here for 4 nights after 3 hectic days in Rome. We knew it was going to be peaceful and we were definitely not disappointed! The surrounding countryside is beautiful with pretty scenery to enjoy whilst relaxing around the pool, which has waiter service that I thought was a nice touch. We usually enjoy visiting different restaurants but we...

Flexibility and personal service, particularly from Stefania, the manager on site. This is a place where you have the impression, the staff tries to read your wishes from your eyes and will respond adequately on anything you desire so you really get spoiled. Marvelous quiet location in the middle of Umbrias countryside. High standard of accomodation.

“Room we occupied (101) was quite small in size, with just about enough space to move around the bed. Bathroom was well equipped, although we had a few niggles with the electrics, which could not be sorted out during our stay (thank you Pietro for trying). The bed linen was crispy clean and the bed was very comfortable. Towels were replaced daily. The shower was powerful enough to rip your hair off!! ”
