We stayed here as the second to last stop on a ten day tour of Italy, and it’s a good thing we did. If we would have started at Ortaglia I don’t think we went to any of our other destinations! It has the most...More
This is the most beautiful place that I have ever been. The views are breathtaking, the smells of the garden and varietal flowers are intoxicating, and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. There is no debate, we will return and once again recieve one of the...More

We stayed here in August, and didn't rent a car. We decided to rent e-bikes, which were dropped off at Ortaglia for us, and we rode them through a couple towns. Multepulciano looks farther than it really is, we took the bikes there as well for dinner, and it took like 10 minutes. The e-bikes were great for helping us up those steep hills. It was fantastic. You could probably walk too it would take a bit longer but still easily done.

"San Donato was more expensive, but worth it. Also stayed in Poggiolo which was really nice as well."
