Albergo Il Rondo is situated at the foot of the hill of Montepulciano. It is a lovely old house with beautiful rooms and a lovely (shady) garden. Staff are friendly and always willing to give advise on where to go or what to visit. The breakfast table was very nice. We were there for 6 nights and toured south east...

This was the most wonderful B&B. The family who owns and runs Il Rondo are so warm and helpful. The rooms are clean and the grounds/gardens are very relaxing. The breakfast, made from scratch, was delicious and the best we had our entire trip around Tuscany! Note: If you don't have a car, you will need to walk "up" to...

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The room we had (Camera Grande) was very styleful and a good size. The ensuite bathroom was very clean and a good size. We even had a dressing room/Cupboard where we could keep our luggage, shoes, and clothes. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating: nothing seemed too much trouble. The quiet garden...

We were very pleased staying here; the inn is exceedingly well run by a family. Our room was not large but quite attractive and we had a lovely sitting room with terrace (shared if there is another guest). The son speaks excellent English and the father is most helpful and gentlemanly. The breakfast was exceptionally good compared to similar small...

We honeymooned in Italy in July 2011 and spent 5 wonderful nights at Il Rondo. On arrival we were met by the owners, whose English is limited, but they are just lovely people - very welcoming and hospitable. On sitting in the beautiful, peaceful gardens, we were served drinks from the bar at very, very reasonable prices. Our room was...

My husband and I stayed at Albergo II Rondo in late October and loved it. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were wonderful. We even had a living room which we shared with one other room. The people who run it are very nice and it is situated just outside the walled city of Montepulciano. I would definitely...

A family-run small hotel with nice breakfast. As it's a small & quiet hotel there is no restaurant in it: dinner&lunch out. For lunch & dinner there are a lot of places near by: easily reached by car & foot. Owners are very helpful. It's better to have a car (the parking is free) to travel around and live in...

We loved the hotel, its cleanliness, the room decor, the breakfast . It is located out of the historical center however extremely easy to get there , either via a small bus that departures 150 m from the hotel or walking ( 15').

The rooms were clean and spacious, with beautiful decor. The grounds were charming and definitely added to the feel of a Tuscan villa. There were olive groves with chairs where you could sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The breakfast was continental, but there were meats and cheeses for those who don't like sweets for breakfast. Everything was put out fresh...

Clean, nicely appointed, quiet location yet close to the entrance to the walled city of Montepulciano. Friendly accomodating staff, comfortable bed and absolutely breath taking views of Tuscany.
