Il Rondò is just outside the walls of Montepulchiano (there is a great view of the town from the end of the drive) in a quiet area. My husband and I were visiting because our son was playing in the annual arts festival. This family run hotel was just about perfect for our needs. We were made very welcome on...

Albergo Il Rondo is a perfect B&B in a perfect Tuscan town. We could not have had a warmer welcome or a happier stay. The wonderful breakfasts got every day off to a perfect start (helped by cloudless skies of course), and it was great to be within easy walking distance of the fabulous old hill town where parking can...

We stayed at this hotel in 2012, and enjoyed our stay so much, when we decided to return to Montepulciano again, we had no hesitation about where to stay. We were travelling with my parents-in-law and upon arrival at the hotel we were very warmly wecolmed and showed to our rooms. We had our own entrance up a few stairs...

We loved our 3 nights we spent here. We chose this hotel because despite being within a short walk of the walled Old Town, we actually felt like we were in the countryside. The garden is beautiful, so peaceful. If you have a car (which is a must for Tuscany) then the easy parking here is an added plus (compared...

We had four nights here and from the time we arrived Nicolo and his family most welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, drinks while relaxing in the garden and recommendations for restaurants and local points of interest. the room was comfortable and for us the bonus of a large dressing room was fantastic to be able to sort ourselves out...

This family run inn is the ideal Tuscan retreat. We were warmly welcomed by Nicolo who made us feel like we were guests in his home. The room was delightfully and artfully decorated. The shared spaces were thoughtful and comfy. The garden and grounds were lovely and we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the garden. Parking, location, and easy...

Run by the owners, eye for detail, fantastic room, stylishly decorated, great garden, short walk to elevator which brings you to the centre of montepulciano. Private free parking. Just perfect. Really flawless, only pity I could not stay longer.

Beds were comfy, bathroom was compact and a bit dark.\ Loved waking up to sound of the birds from the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was good. Mumma makes a delicious apple cake that we got to try. Although the hotel is only a short distance from the centre of Montepulciano, it is all up hill and there are...

Breathtaking boutique hotel. The owner and his family are very nice and they kept the place very clean. We realised that most of their guests are regulars which say heaps about their popularity. They keep coming back to this lovely hotel to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owner keeps the garden well pruned with lightly scented roses and lemon trees....

Il Rondo is a lovely family-run experience. There was a small sitting room adjoining two bedrooms so we had a place to relax with our friends at the end of a touring day. Nicolo has perfect English and his parents are friendly and very helpful. Don't expect streamlined bedrooms- furnishing is rustic and perfect for the area. I would definitely...
