Older hotel but comfortable and adequate for a nice stay in Montecatini. Breakfast was good eggs and bacon with plenty of pastries, juice and coffee. Wifi was handy to book trips or get information about the places we wanted to go see. Staff was very informative and helpful.

It seems to be luck of the draw with regards to which room you are allocated. We were lucky and got a room with a balcony, but some other rooms were not acceptable for a 4* hotel. Some we saw had views of fire escapes and blank rendered walls

I get the feeling that this hotel is used for mainly 1 night stopovers for people visiting the Tuscany region. There seemed to be a lot of different people every night in the restaurant during our 7 night stay. Our reservation was made by our tour operator, of which we were a group of 20 people. In my opinion this... More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here as part of a five night Travelzoo deal. The accommodations were more than adequate (although I could have used an Iron which was not supplied). Rooms were clean, staff very helpful (Emanuel in dining room was top-notch!). They also provided parking.

This is an old hotel as are most of the buildings in Montecatini Terme, a renaissance retreat for nobles back in the day. The staff is outstanding: kind, helpful, professional. ( a shoutout to special Nicolina, who made sure our rooms as well as the hallway were cleaned daily, fresh linens on our beds and clean towels in the bath... More

The Hotel Minerva Palace is a gem! the staff treats you like family-Manu, Franco, Anna, and all the staff were great, helpful, and passionate. Also, Montecatini itself is a great place to be, and convenient to visit other Tuscan cities. I would recommend this romantic gem.

We stayed there for a week and loved it. The hotel was clean, and comfortable. It was close to the square, shopping, and Termes. The hotel breakfast was very good. Franco was very kind and super helpful. He recommended restaurants and places of interest. We had a car but were able to walk almost everywhere. We would definitely stay there... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Trafalgar tour. The rooms were quite roomy and very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was not the best we've had but it was enough to keep us going. They had a selection of cakes and bread (just thin Italian bread), there was eggs and bacon (bit too... More

We have just returned from a week of sheer happiness at the Minerva Hotel which is perfectly located in a quiet street but less than a minutes walk from the stunning square brimming with happy travellers and locals. All of the staff were full of Italian charm and added to the ambience of this small hotel with a big personality... More
