The staff is what makes this hotel great. Extremely helpful. The night front desk person took time when he finished work to come with us to translate for us. The female front desk was extremely helpful with awesome shopping tips. The room was clean with an updated bathroom. Gate 1 travel you find the hidden gems!!!

My wife and I were here 5 nights in March. Very central location to stay with easy access to train station. Hotel is very clean. Fresh linens daily. Room is spotless. Breakfast is very good but same every day. Staff is well above most places in being helpful, respectful and kind. Montecatini, even with spas is not a destination spot...

The Hotel Minerva Palace is an older hotel in the heart of Montecatini Terme conveniently located near the piazza, a taxi stop and about a 6 minute walk from the Montecatini Centro train station. My only complaint is that parking is extremely challenging, but we were there in the late February/March 2017 off-season, so we were able to get a...

for the price, great, and would stay for this price again. This is not a modern hotel and does not try to be. Don't be fooled by their "free parking", we didn't get to use one of the two spots once our entire trip in shoulder season. Breakfast was totally adequate and the breakfast attendants are incredibly helpful and friendly,...

Typical older European hotel that had seen better days. A bit better than what we expected based on the price we paid for the trip. The decor aside, the room and bathroom were nice size and everything was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with the typical breads, cold cereals, yogurts, eggs, cheeses and salumi, with...

The wife and I traveled with some friends to Montecatini in January on a deal we found with Travel Zoo. It was the first deal we had ever purchased as we are typically very Leary of the "deals" we find online. I am so glad that we chose to do this as it was a terrific value and we had...

Wonderful and pleasant staff. Very helpful. The hotel is old and could use some TLC but overall not bad. Very close to the train station which is a plus. Breakfast was good every morning. Wait staff always around if you need anything. If you are going to be eating in town do so early seems things closed down pretty early....

Second time in Montecatini using Gate 1 Travel. This hotel is ok to just sleep in. The noise is loud though, so not good for light sleeper like my husband. The breakfast was decent. The front desk was not tok helpful. This was part of a package... I wouldn't pick this hotel if I have the option.

Rooms were quaint, spacious, very serviceable. European flavor, not cookie cutter style, perfect for our 5 night stay. Lovely lobby for relaxing and people watching, outdoor terrace at back of hotel...2 stories, outside of 4th and 5th floors. Have to explore to find the door to terrace, nice place for a drink and visiting with friends. Parking is limited, very...
