A little hard to find (it's at no. 158 not 128), it's a quiet location opposite a pebbled beach. On a sunny day it might be nice to swim but it was a bit windy and here was a rip in the water when we were there so had to admire from afar. Nice view from the clean room, we...

We spent a couple of days at Albergo Esperia before taking the ferry to Isola Salina and it turned out to be a great experience. Warm and very professional staff that made us feel at home, great location, right across a quiet beach, and excellent facilities with a marvelous patio, always at the perfect temperature, quiet. The perfect space to...

Quiet place about 10 minutes from port. Warning - car navigation systems mostly doesn'¨t work properly because of Milazzo streets have 2 various numbers on the buildings; you have to go direction north VIA TONO and check left side, hotel hasn't any weel marked sign. Good point is that it is opposite parking place. Now back to hotel: very modern...

Nice little hotel. I imagine the nice and chatty lady at reception is the owner. We only stayed for 1 night but was good value for money: Directly on the beach; front the rooms you have an open view to the sea. Plus, wifi, shades and benches supplied (at the beach)

Our Gracious Host greeted us and showed us to our Beach Facing Room. Very Friendly Staff! Many speak English. Nice size room Nice breakfast. A lot of Art. . Small TV with no English speaking channels but after a month in Sicily I can follow the story.

Nice place; helpful staff, some of whom speak English. Quiet, comfortable, even charming (in a very mod way). Liked the balcony and the courtyard. Good breakfast. Had trouble finding it; it is not at 128 Via Tono, it is at 158. When we pointed this out to the desk clerk, he said something about GPS. Didn't like being locked into...

This is a review of a hotel sadly not yet visited. We chose to go there as part of our prospected tour of Amalfi and Scicily in June, however we had to change our plans and miss out on what looked like a great hotel. My review is of the owner and his helpfulness in answering innumerable enquiries re travel...

We stayed in Milazzo for one night before our flight home. We didn't enjoy the city so much- the impression was that it was half closed and half under construction and we were too tired to make big efforts. Still this place was an excellent choice- sea view balcony, warm staff and personnal attitude. It felt like a place to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Esperia, the only hotel and self-catering by the marvellous "Tono" beach, a few minutes away from Milazzo town centre. Esperia is provided with 10 double rooms (of which two are connecting and two for the disabled) and six fully furnished and equipped flats which can accommodate up to 4 people. Furnishings have been tailored to represent themes inspired by Sicily's mythology, places and flora. Esperia also features a large breakfast room, an inner garden and terraces with a panoramic view which, thanks to the mild climate Milazzo offers almost all the year round, give the hotel guests the opportunity to exchange their "travel notes" with other people, to sunbathe or to enjoy the fresh summer air. Hotel facilities include: continental breakfast and brunch, reserved and equipped beach, veterinary service and dog-sitting, private garage, lift, conference room. Room facilities include: air conditioning, double-glazing, minibar, TV, private bathroom, safe, direct dial telephone, connection to the Internet. The Tono beach is an ideal seaside resort located in the final part of Milazzo Western Riviera. Besides the crystal-clear sea and the fiery red sunsets, it offers a fascinating view of the Aeolian Islands on one side and Mount Etna on the other. Esperia Hotel, which owes its name to its position along the Western Riviera ("esperos" in ancient Greek meant west), offers its guests a stretch of reserved and equipped beach. ... more   less
