We spent one day in B&B Re Umberto. We rent an apartment from Re Umberto, Pietro who runs the place gave us an apartment in outstanding conditions, with everything you need, nice kitchen, laundry room, excellent bedroom, downtown, suggested restaurants, visits, got us a taxi...More
Very central. Beautiful spacious rooms. Extremely well kept. Comfortable beds. Great interior design. Very clean. Quite close to the ferry port. Milazzo has some charm and is worth a visit. Some nice restaurants around.
We used it as a base for two trips to the Eolian Islands and it was an excellent choice. Rooms are clean, renovated and quiet (even those facing the street as those have balcony doors with double glassing). Breakfast is good and breakfast room is...More
From minute one, this place is perfect. Great location, clean& bright, and a stunning host.
Comfortable beds, great rooms and an breakfast well worth having.
We came to Milazzo to visit the islands, and enjoyed a great B & B along the way.
Perfect B&B. The rooms were designed simply and very well. The entire B&B was extraordinarily clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was very close to where you want to be, a few blocks from the port. Would definitely recommend

Hi Traveller!
Per night I paid 70 Euro, breakfast included, of course. I arrived from LIPARI, by hydrofoil and I walked from the boat and then from the B&B to the bus station to go to Messina.
The nearest airport is Catania-Fontanarossa Airport - 143 km.
From Falcone-Borsellino Airport - Palermo: 230 km.
Best way to get there is by train. You can check the timetables here: train-catania-milazzo. It takes 2:30 to 3:30 hours, with train change at Messina Centrale (duration and waiting time depends on the days and the departure hours). One way 7 or 8 Euro. The sooner you book the best fare you'll get!
You also have the option to take the Giunta bus from Catania airport to Milazzo Port (the Port is close to the B&B Re Umberto I). Check here: eoliebooking
OR here (much more expensive) : shuttledirect, transfers/Milazzo. I cannot include links :(
Happy travelling!
