Great location, friendly, helpful staff! Set in the sleepy backstreets of Venice this hidden gem provided an excellent central base to stroll or gondola to anywhere in Venice.

Ugly lobby, horrible breakfast, small rooms. The only plus is its price, but it is a full of kitsch three star hotel, uglier that Romanian hotels. I never thought that in Italy the breakfast could be made of low price ham and tastless cheese. Never ever stay there again. Only the wonderful Italian light in the morning was able to...

Very Very tacky decor (pink, red dated and dirty) perhaps in a Russian? style? It is so garish that it is disturbing. Usually I am not that picky about decor, but in this case...well! Rooms small and dirty, but the bathrooms while very very! small are clean and updated (but they are hard to use they are so small, basically toilet...

We selected the Hotel Venezia because of its relative proximity to Venice and the lower rates than what are available in Venice. Upon arrival, we were given a brochure with detailed information on how to get to Venice. Unfortunately, the bus system routes had been updated and the Hotel was still providing outdated material. We followed the instructions to get...

We booked this hotel after seeing its advertisement on the internet. It was close to Mestre station and close to transport to Venice. The bus to Venice was a street away and it was a 15-20 minute bus trip to Venice. This we were happy about. The hotel advertisement showed a glitzy, expensive looking foyer which it does have but...

After a wonderful two week trip to Italy in late August with my extended family, I spent my last night in this shabby hotel. Our airline experienced mechanical problems on the flight home thereby grounding our plane and sending all of its passengers to a number of different hotels. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and had clearly inconvenienced...

We booked this hotel through expedia as it was one of the close hotels to the main train station "Mastre" ... it took us about 1.5 hours to walk from Mestre Station to it! (very disappointing) ... When we reached the Hotel, we found the reception very unfriendly and rude. They asked for our passports and they refused to return...

We found the hotel pretty easily; it cost us about 10 euros’ from the closest train station (Venezia Mestre). When we arrived, (about half an hour early), it seemed a huge problem to the staff to check in early, or even to leave our bags, but we finally did get an early check in. Once in our room, we were...

A nice surprise to arrive at the hotel to find it better than I was expecting. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent english. Room was nice and we were on the 6th Floor with an outside balcony with table and chairs. Bathroom was nice but the shower was an issue as the pressure and the right temperature hard to maintain....

Nice hotel with a very good location, centre of Venice is easily accessible by public transport, while you can leave your car in hotel's parking lot (for free). Breakfast was OK, with a wide selection. The room and the bathroom was very very small, but was clean.
