The location was near a supermarket and plenty of local restaurants were available to eat out, a local mall had street vendors on the night we were there and we felt safe just walking around the area. Trams and buses are available 20 metres from...More
If you want to shop, this place is perfect. Malls, shops and and an outdoor Friday market are right there. The smoking policy bothered us, as did the fire extinguishers outside of every room. Service was adequate, but the room and bathroom were small. Old...More

We took a cab from Marco Polo which I think was 35 euro or thereabouts. To get to the cruise port from the hotel, we took the tram from the nearby terminal as it was leaving before the bus. There was plenty of room for our luggage and it was quite than the bus. From memory it was about 1.50 euro each. The tram terminates at the Plaza Roma and from the we walked across the road to catch the 'People Mover', a kind of monorail to the port. It can be a bit of a walk to the actual cruise terminal, depending on where your ship is berthed.
