This hotel was perfect for us. It was super close to the train station. You can see the hotel when you arrive and simply walk across the street. We really liked staying in Mestre and travelling over to Venice during the day. Venice is so busy that it was nice to go back to a quiet place at night. The...

We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of October. We had asked for a non-smoking room and were given a really nice room, but it smelled of musty tobacco, We were given another room which smelled only a little less, and were charged less because it was slightly smaller. Did not make a big fuss. It must be the...

We stayed for 4 days. The breakfast was lavish and with many options. My son who has a hearty apetite was quite happy with the breakfast. The rooms were clean. The negative past was the lack of disposable bags in the bathrooms meant for women. The walls were thin too as we could hear the next door person using the...

Although I usually don't like staying close to railway stations, this hotel I found to be very nice and comfortable. Once you are in the room you forget about busy streets and everything. Hotel is so up to date, lighted up and I guess the designers and engineers worked a lot on such type of rooms. I liked it that...

This is a very average hotel located just in front of the railway station. It saved time that we could buy the train tickets at the reception (it cost 1 euro to Venice) . Room was cold (heating did not work), the internet was so slow that we could not use it (free). Do not expect too much for breakfast....

Great hotel with nice staff. *Full marks to the chef who made us meal, despite the restaurant being closed, when we couldn’t face another ‘ bistro-type’ pasta dish and to the waiters who burst into ‘Happy Birthday’ on cue.* All the usual business facilities , including free WIFI ;Tea/coffee tray available from Reception, on request. Hotel right next to the...

I booked a "Double Look" room in the hotel in October. The room is nicely design with modern furniture with nice small details (you are beautiful sign on the mirror, don't give up sign on the window :-), blue light for nice relaxed atmosphere). The bathroom is large and cosy. The room includes big flat screen, air condition, free wifi,...

As we were travelling around Europe by car, we needed somewhere out of Venice so chose the Hotel Bologna as it was opposite the station at Mestre and also had secure parking. Our rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. Breakast was good, we had dinner at the restaurant one night of our atay and it was very satisfactory.

we decided to stay in this hotel because if it's price, spacious bedrooms and the fact it was close to Mestre train station so we could move around to Venice by train (15min travel for 1€) and to go to Verona, Bologna, etc.. We were not disapointed. The only thing I would complain is that we got a bedroom close...

I've never written a review before but I wanted to pat Hotel Bologna on the back. For the price this is a great deal. They backed up everything in their ads. Rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yogurt and lots of pastries was great. The front desk made my dinner...
