Front desk was very helpful. Room was clean and spacious. A little out of town. Great if you are headed to Trapani. We bought a bottle of local wine and drank it by the pool. Great night. Great view of the lagoon and islands. Breakfast was very good!!!

We spent there two nights. The location is fine, close to the airport, to Marsala and Mozia's Island. The staff is friendly. However, we have to say that we are disappointed by our stay. The first night we were woken up by ants on the bed. Though the staff claims that it was due to food on the bed, we...

Good morning, thank you for being our guests but we are sorry to read this review, because even when we asked if everything was ok you do not show any negativity in this regard. Stayed for 4 nights in hotel isola di mozia and we were very satisfied with this hotel. The 3 ladies that run this hotel are super attentive to their visitors and they are always ready to help and give advice. Food offered for breakfast was always fresh and enough to start the day. The pool is an added asset to...

Don't be put off by the rather dull building; the setting - overlooking the old salt pans of Trapani and the fascinating little island of Mozia - is magical and the cheerful women who run the place are delightful. We'd only booked for one night as we had an early start from Trapani airport (it's about 5 minutes easy drive...

Lovely ladies who found me the last car in sicily in august! Clean comfortable inexpensive rooms 5 mins from excellent kitesurfing. Uncrowded flatwater spot even in august and undiscovered by northern europeans. Walk to scenic windmills and salt pans and 25 mins from trapani nightlife. Will definitely return!

Three ladies - Cristina, Graziella & Rosalba - looked after us well for our single night near Marsala in this comfortable little hotel, in June 2014. It was clean, friendly, quiet (despite being on the main road) and well-provided. e would have stayed longer, had we known this in advance, and in fact it was an accident (an overbooking at...

We had a wonderful stay in April. We arrived in the early evening and were welcomed with a drink and a piece of pie on the terrace. The ladies spoke well English and gave us a lot of information, which was very nice and useful. For dinner, they arranged us a free transport to a restaurant nearby. The next day,...

Hotel Isola di Mozia is located a stone’s throw from Trapani-Birgi airport, an excellent location if you’re catching a flight out of that airport. It provides the perfect base for exploring the west coast of Sicily from Erice to Trapani and from the Marsala wine area to the Valle del Belice, known for its splendid wines: Bianco d’Alcamo, Entella, Nero...

Extremely good hotel now under new management run and staffed by a couple of charming middle-aged ladies. After the dirt, noise and bustle of Palermo, the Hotel Isola di Mozia was bliss itself. I was amazed how helpful everybody was. The place is really a little oasis in Mozia and a short walk to Mozia Island (old and new embarkation...

“So far as I could tell, all rooms were really good. Perhaps a room facing Mozia Island and the sea? I don't know about rooms facing the main road but it might get a bit noisy as the hotel literally opens onto the main road and a relatively quiet railway track. You might even try for a room opening onto the top floor terrace. Here, you can watch the sun set over Mozia Island and the salt-pans but, in all truth, it's better to watch the sun go down along the waterfront. But do watch the sun go down in the evening. It is one of the most incredible effects I have ever witnessed.”
