If you plan to spend some time in the norhtern part of the Tuscany area of Italy, this is a very good place to stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the town of Marina di Massa in the northern part of Tuscany not far from the town of Carrara which is famous for its marble quarries.
My family and I spent some time at this hotel back in 2001 and really liked it. Meanwhile it has been re-decorated and offers spacious and clean rooms at a reasonable price. For an additional fee you can have half-board and I was not disappointed by the fresh and tasty meals.
All the rooms offer free internet access.
The owners are very nice and help you with any information you might need.
The only downside was that I arrived in the first high season of "mosquito time", so it's a good idea to keep the windows shut during the night if you stay there while the mosquitos are "on the hunt".
I'll spend some time in Italy in late October this year, and I'm sure that I'll stay at the "Tiffany" agian.

The positives were a well kept, clean hotel with a very good breakfast. However there was just something lacking in the staff's ability to care for their guests. To begin when we arrived, we found we only had towels and toiletries for one and when we reported this to reception, they insisted on checking for themselves, why didn't they believe us? Secondly, we had to ask for a map of the town and when we asked them where the Tourist Office was, they told us wrong. When we found the office it was closed due to a public holiday. The response from the hotel, was "we wouldn't know, as we are at work" Well sorry about that, but their guests weren't! Finally, after a warm week with warm nights, we discovered our Aircon control had been removed on the last night, when we asked the next day, the reply was "It's winter now". When we suggested surely they could have waited one more night. The reply a shrug! Again, the hotel was more interested in them than their guests. Disappointing! A good value stay, but civility and helpfulness costs nothing!

Response from Carlotta G, Proprietario at Hotel Tiffany
Responded 13 Oct 2017
Dear Mr and Mrs Styles, Thank you for spending your time to review us. As we appreciate your compliments about the breakfast and cleaniness, at the same time we are a bit astonished about some of your statements. After working for more than 50 years in hospitality, our family and staff have never, ever been appointed to be lacking of civility and helpfullness. For our customers we have always (always) provided tourist information, as well as we have booked restaurants, train tickets, beach facilities, and so on... We have offered to give you information about Carrara Marble quarries, Cinque Terre, Parma city ( because one of the girls have a boyfriend that know thecity very well ). As first reaction you laughed amongst you and giggle condescendingly at us, as it was superfluous to you. "I do not need a boyfried" was your answer....... When you asked the map maybe there was a misunderstanding on the directions but obviously we do not have much fun sending customers to the wrong places. We gave you a map, we pointed the Info point, but we are not able to follow every custumer's steps around the neighborhood. In addittion, it is the first time that one of our guests get lost in Marina di Massa.... Second thing, I remember very well when you came back and asked why the tourist office was closed; since we did not find the "correct english words" to say that, we did not remeber about the public Holiday in MASSA, you ended my sentence saying that "you are working hard every day so you might not know everything" which really was not exactly what we wanted to say. Anyway, today it sounds very much like the famous "british humor", to which we are not very accustomed here. So, even if we work hard EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR with people from all over the world, trying to always meet their needs, we are also aware the SOMETIMES it is possible to find customers that simply are not keen to take our suggestions, to dialogue with us in a gentle way and that would simply put an “ideological” wall between them and us. About the aircon: We have chosen a casual day to collect all the aricon controllers because the max temp. in that week of October was 20° degrees (10° degrees during the night) which, in our humble opinion, made, pretty usless to turn on the aricon. This could have been a simple evaluation mistake, and we are sorry about that. If you really needed cold air that much, you could have asked the controller back the same night to the "night porter", whose role is exactly to fulfill these simple requests. The day after, you have taken this simple answer from our desk clerk to write something negative. In the end, we regret this bitterness, wich comes even more unexpected after 5 days when you have constantly been smiling at our staff as everything was running smoothly. We will continue to work hard for our clients as we have always done over the last 50 years, hoping that this could be classified just an unpleasant misunderstanding. Meanwhile we send you our Best Regards, Hotel Tiffany Family & Staff

Hotel not very far from the coast.
Close to the center on foot.
The rooms are clean but not very spacious.
There is cleanliness and courtesy.
The rating I left is due to the price (over €100 without tourist tax) and the space. Parking is available this time but you are still in a street where parking is prohibited everywhere.
The breakfast good. I recommend buying some IT0 eggs. For a few bucks it doesn't change much in economic terms but on a healthy level it does.
I recommend it and would go back.

+1
The room is a decent size, everything is clean and modern, we were particularly pleasantly surprised by the bathroom. The hotel itself is a concrete block with little charm, but the very friendly staff makes up for this shortcoming. The breakfast buffet is rich and you get freshly squeezed orange juice. We felt very comfortable.

Structure with extremely attention to detail, every year we come here for work during a trade fair in our sector and every time we feel great. Modern rooms, with very clean and well-kept bathrooms (renovated a few years ago and they really look like new every year), varied buffet breakfast, great professionalism and courtesy of Mr. Roberto and family. unbeatable value for money Marcello M.

Salve, siamo a 350 metri dalla piazza principale e 300 metri dal mare.
tutto è raggiungibile a piedi
saluti
