My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and we loved it. Rosalba was a great host and made sure we felt welcome. She helped us with taxis and gave us information about places to visit nearby. Our room was lovely and clean with a great shower. We had a narrow balcony overlooking the sea which was great. Breakfast here was really tasty. A nice spread plus the choice of a savoury or sweet breakfast. We opted for the savoury. It was huge and tasty - scrambled eggs, bruschetta, Parma ham and cheese. I cannot fault this place at all. Also there is a lovely seafood restaurant a 5 minute walk away. Definitely worth a visit. Would definitely come back. A *

My wife and I loved this B&B. We stayed 3 peaceful nights, and visited the surrounding towns of Maratea and Acquafredda. We ate at restaurants recommended by owners and were very satisfied with the recommendations. The general location and area of Maratea is a bit challenging to get to and to get around by car, given the mountainous area, but if you drive carefully and avoid smaller local roads, you will be rewarded with terrific views of the sea. Ask for the suite with the large terrace – there is only one -to get the best patio with expansive views, and comfortable chairs and loungers for suntanning.

Little piece of heaven. · Superb location with stunning views from private balcony. Immaculately clean and spacious. Rosalba our host was just wonderful and served us amazing breakfasts both days. So much better than the Amalfi coast, if you are in doubt, skip the crowded, over priced, noisy, claustrophobic Amalfi and come here to a little piece of heaven.

The B&B was located in a quiet environment and the appartment selected had a huge private terrace overlooking the sea. The owner was very nice and dedicated to her guests. The breakfast was really good and hearty. I strongly recommend Villa Caterina.

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 day stay at Villa Caterina. Easy to find, situated a short distance from the Acquafredda seaside and within walking distance of a very good seafood restaurant Da Cesare. Rosalba and her Mum made us feel very welcome on arrival. We were given a cool refreshment and shown to our room which was very comfortable with plenty of hanging space and modern decor. The view of the sea and coastline is just breath taking! This view is best enjoyed during breakfast which is served on the terrace. Rosalba's cakes and her mothers homemade jams are a must try. During our stay Rosalba went above and beyond to look after us. She organised booking us a space at a nearby lido, which we then returned to the next day. She also helped us when deciding where to eat on both nights to make sure we were able to enjoy the best of what Maratea has to offer in cuisine. We will definitely be back!
