My wife and I along with my son and his fiancee were here for my daughter's wedding. I cannot think of anything that disappointed us. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean. It was also very handy for Malcesine which is a beatiful town. We have already booked to return with my daughter and her...

We booked this hotel based on other TripAdvisor members' reviews, and we totally agree with them all. The hotel only has one star due to the national Italian review system, but as the owner told us, she would rather have the hotel clean and welcoming than put another chair in each bathroom! The hotel is on the main lakeside road,...

Spotless big rooms and bathroom, excellent shower with the water a wee bit temperamental.....cold beer, wine and soft drinks available from reception... very nice wee pool at the rear. Breakfast was simple but fine....only one complaint-there was no iron/ironing board available, we thought there might be a communal one available at least. Many people might not be too bothered by...

One star. Basic, but had absolutely everything we needed. We heeded advice of others and booked a room overlooking the pool rather than the road. No air conditioning, but a huge ceiling fan. Spotlessly clean. About ten minutes walk (uphill) from the jetty at Malcesine, which is worth bearing in mind if, like us, you are arriving with heavy luggage.

We stayed at Casa Popi for a week. The rooms are basic (no tea / coffee making facilities, no hairdryer, no iron) but very comfortable and clean. We chose a lake view room which had excellent views of the lake, but there is a busy road at the front which may disturb you if you're a light sleeper - particularly...

The Casa Popi was a wonderful place to stay in Malcesine. We were there for our friends wedding and had initially planned to only stay for two nights. Due to problems with accommodation elsewhere, (as we were on a road trip building in the wedding) we ended up needing accommodation for five nights. We knew we were going to get...

We've stayed at Casa Popi several summers during the past 15 years. Don't let the "one star only" -classification bother - you won't regret a stay at this excellent albergo. Extremely clean rooms, a delicious breakfast buffet and a lovely pool area - just a few minutes walk from the village center.

Just returned for our third trip to Malcesine, and discovered the wonderful Casa Popi. We booked because of the positive reviews here and were not dissapointed. We had a very friendly welcome, and immidiately noticed the warm, cosy and homely feel to the place. We were shown to our room which was quite large (I think one of the larger...

Have just come back from a week at Lake Garda staying in this great little family run hotel. It only has 15 bedrooms some of which face the lake. Just a word of warning when booking a lake view room that a road does run in front of the hotel. It can be busy during the day but is a...

We stayed at Casa Popi not knowing muc about the hotel, even though we had been to Malcesine previously, and were very pleasantly surprised. On arrival they collected our luggage in their car when we were dropped by the transfer bus in the miiddle of town, and from then on did all they could to make our stay enjoyable, despite...
