Whilst in Malcesine and as most of the restaurants and hotels are shutting for end of the season we decided to see if we could book a table to eat in this hotel restuarant . We asked at the reception desk and was told we would have to eat before 20:00 as the restaurant closes after that time . We... More

This hotel would have had lots of charm in its day but now needs refurbishing as the interia is looking drab. We upgraded to a lake view room with a large balcony which couldn't have been more perfect for the view. The room was very clean with plenty of space but the furnishings let it down. Bathroom was clean &... More

We picked this hotel because we wanted something near to the castle and in the town itself. This hotel is in the perfect location. Although dated in decoration our room was exceptionally clean especially the bathroom, our bed was very comfortable and room a decent size how ever our visit was at the beginning of September and the lack of... Basically it could be a much better place, but the Food,Restaurant & Manager, staff lets it down. You are told where to sit regardless;in hot climates ,fans are left off & windows are kept closed, because it will disrupt the Restaurant Manager & his Wifes routine of clearing away & preparing for the next meal.Open windows & fans would blow away paper napkins &... Went here for a drink, whilst waiting for ferry back to Viva. There are sunbeds on the terrace with steps going right into the lake, so you can go for a swim, the basque in the sun with waiter service. Absolutely superb.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at this hotel with 2 friends. After reading some reviews we were slightly apprehensive but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are old fashioned but spotlessly clean, the bathrooms are good and towels and bedding seemed to be changed every day. The food was good and staff very... More

Nice small hotel overlooking the lake. Lovely girl on reception, who was very polite and cheerful. Our room was small and basic but it served it's purpose, we didn't have a balcony, just a side window overlooking the restaurant below, my daughters room next door, had a small balcony with 2 chairs. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

Already from the check in things started very bad.. The man was annoyed and clearly unhappy of his place... No smile, no helping tips about the parking problem (we needed park in an expensive area and in the night move the car to another far parking lot always expensive). When asked about the wifi he bothered asked me to read... More

We are here for a week. We were higher up last time we came and wanted a central hotel. This is perfect everything on our doorstep. Rooms clean, have u r own balcony shared with loungers. Vast experience breakfast and 4 course evening meal. Staff helpful and pleasant. Good choice would come back.
