Basic little hotel but very nice and clean. Family run with staff that were helpful and friendly. Parking on site was a bonus. Delicious continental breakfast served each morning in the little restaurant. My only complaint was the bed was as hard as a board, very uncomfortable. The views from the balcony were stunning, always something different to capture you,...

No frills hotel but nice. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location - path to the lake is directly across the road-1 min away. 7 min lakeside walk to centre of Malcesine - which is lovely. Lots of small streets with plenty of restaurant choices. The view from the balcony was gorgeous.

My husband, daughter and I were met by Andrea as soon as we pulled up to help us park which was not a problem. We were then whisked to our triple room on the top floor which was large, clean and well appointed. We loved the short walk into and around Malcesine. The town is beautiful! We enjoyed views of...

We arrived very late (midnight) and the manager settled us in quickly with no fuss, he even found us a bottle of wine which was well received. Even at that hour the view from the balcony was lovely. Breakfast was fine, had everything we needed including gluten free crackers and cakes which were a nice touch. The room was clean...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights before the summer season really got under way. It was easy to find on the main lakeside road, offered free parking, and from just across the road there is a good lakeside pedestrian path into the old part of town. We had a lake view from our room and balcony. The welcome...

We may have been spoilt by our experiences in Florence and Rome, but Villa Edera seemed basic. It was clean, but little niggles like the aircon does not come on until 5pm and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Room was ok for size, shower fine. Balcony on side of building, views ok. Staff friendly enough. Breakfast was ok, plenty...

This was a little gem. The room was a bit small, but you get that a lot in central Europe. It was the end of a vacation week for Germany, so the streets were crowded and the hotel was full. I actually got the last room available for the weekend. Super friendly staff, accommodating, even to a couple of very...

The hotel is conveniently placed for an easy walk into town (10 mins). There is a short very steep path onto the promenade and then a beautiful walkway which takes you to the town followed by a steep slope into the town itself. The hotel was very clean and has beautiful views over the lake. The only draw back for...

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Bright and spacious rooms with balcony with the view to the lake - absolutely beautiful! Great location - just few steps to the beach and just a short walk to the centre. Value for the money!

I stayed here in August 2012 for 2 days. It is an absolute hidden gem. We had a front facing room over looking lake garda and was the perfect view. I could have easily stayed here all week. A short walk along th road took you to the centre of town where there are loads of lovely shops and resturants....
