A nice place in the mountains, properly decorate with wood and with a special mention for the glass covered living room, that must be simply awesome in winter. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and sincerely smiling. Great that you can check-in till late. on the (minor) flip sides, the mini shelf that run all along the bed is a bit annoying...

Spent a week in Madonna, which is always a perfect skiing location, and stayed in this small family hotel. Cime d'Oro is located in the southern part of the city, walking to the ski lift will take about 10 minutes or you can use hotel's free transfer service - Land Rover Defender shutles a number of times between hotel and...

We have just come back from a New Year's time holiday and we liked our stay very much. Pleasantly surprised. Cosy and friendly family run hotel. We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and approach of the hotel owners and all the staff, especially the hotel ski shuttle driver Tulio. It is not a perfect destination for luxury lovers. But we often...

One tip -- make sure you know what the outside temperature will be, because it will be the same inside if you are there in the summer. They turn off the heat and refuse to turn it on again no matter how cold it gets. It was 39 degrees when we woke up in the morning (4 degrees centigrade) and...

I'll start with the bad, parents didn't take care of their kids....definitely a kid friendly place, though I didn't enjoy them running around, bumping into me and yelling during breakfast. Second, the pony tailed dude got very upset when we tried to apologize we didn't know "no ski boots in the room" rule and tried to explain we'd start following...

Well cleaned rooms, good shuttle service to the cable lift provided by hotel. Very friendly staff. Small and dark rooms, a little bit overpriced for Italian Alps, but not in Madonna :)

The fellow who checked us in was gruff (language was not an issue since my wife is a fluent Italian speaker) and when we had trouble using the hotel's wi-fi, we had to press him before he would offer assistance. In addition, there was mold in the shower and the mattresses were the stiffest I have slept on since my...

When we visited Madonna di Campiglio, for one night only, weather was so-so and in the evening a terrible thunderstorm broke loose. This might have affected our impression of the resort, which probably is just lovely with perfect conditions. Cime d'Oro is in the outskirts of Campiglio, well-kept and seemingly well-managed, and we got a nice greeting with recommendations about...

We stayed for a week while skiing in Madonna. Its a great location, about 10 mins walk from centre of town and they provide a shuttle service to the ski lifts in the morning & evening. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel spa area is small but great to have after a day up the...
