We paid a little extra to upgrade our room - was worth it, although to be honest, our son's were in the standard room and that was very good too. The location of the hotel was really good, close to the bubble lift and with a bus stop right outside (that all the bus services stopped at) was really convenient. The supermarket opposite was really good too. Cannot say enough about the staff, the restaurant staff were amazing and really friendly. We were the only English people in the hotel at the time, so we didn't spend a huge amount of time in the bar, but when we did we were made to feel very welcome. The food was wonderful and there were good choices in the evening, the chef was excellent. Breakfast was really good with enough choice to feed our two boys who are big eaters, being 17 and 21. In the mornings, the waiting staff even remembered our coffee order and by the end of the week, we didn't even need to ask for our coffee - it just arrived. I should mention that they also had fresh coffee on the breakfast buffet too. If we ever had a question, then they were super helpful in their reply. Due to Covid, the wellness centre had to be booked in advance, what this meant in reality was that you actually had the whole wellness centre to yourselves - heaven! Cannot praise the hotel highly enough, if we do go back to Livigno, then we will definitely be staying there. The room was cleaned very well every day, and I suspect that we had fresh towels each day too.…
Wow! One of the best skiing holidays I have ever had, stunning hotel, huge, comfortable rooms, first class spa, much needed after a hard ski, lovely staff, and last but not least, amazing hosts. Thank you Giovanni, Damiano, and all your wonderful staff. The chef is out of this world, the amazing dinners we had every night, along with Damiano’s eclectic, local, to die for wines…. How I managed to ski after eating and drinking so well? Thank you, thank you, thank you, we will definitely be back. Grazie Mille!
We had such a wonderful time at St Michael hotel . We were welcomed by the team so warmly that we felt at home straight away. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view. The Spa area was well equipped and luxurious - the perfect end to a ski day! The food was varied and yummy, as was tge breakfast- a good start to tge day! We enjoyed the company if Damiano and Giovanna - hopefully we will meet again soon. Thank you for a fantastic time. Gina and Huw xx
This is a great hotel in the lovely town of Livigno. Good rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and warm. The hotel provided an additional duvet for me to help support my back, the family and staff are first class and will help with any requests for information. Breakfast was great with good quality food and drinks, well replenished and tasty. We ate in the hotel one evening and choices were good with a vegetarian option. Hotel also offers a nice well ness centre open between 4-8pm with hot tub, steam room, sauna and provides robes and flip flops. Also good ski storage room. Many thanks to all involved who made our stay so lovely. We will be returning, thank you x
We stayed in a second floor room and had the half board option. The purpose of our stay was to snowboard all week with a bit of apres. The entire experience at the hotel was amazing. The reception staff are welcoming and knowledgable. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job of making our room perfect every day. The chef and restaurant staff served up edible art for the evening meal. They were friendly and explained any queries we had about the menu. We were able to try different dishes also. The breakfast too, was just yum and enough to keep us full for a day of snowboarding. The ski/snowboard locker room was nice and warm which meant dry kit for the next day. There was even an evening of Grappa tasting which was nice and a welcome drink with aperitif snacks also. Great hotel, glad we found it. …
