We only ate here on a day-trip to Garda town from Malcesine, and the location is great, the service friendly and fairly speedy. But the food was the worst I've ever had in Italy (still better than a lot of English food, but comparatively poor)....More

The Ancora along with a few other hotels/bars/restaurants is on a pedestrianised cobbled lake front with only taxis allowed in the vicinity. There is a carpark about 800 yards from the hotel, maybe slightly more. Go as if you are driving out of Garda towards Malcestine. As you almost leave the town the carpark is down on your left. Its frequently patrolled by police and short stay. (2 hours maybe). Can't remember how many euros an hour it is. Once you reach the Ancora they will re-direct you to an underground carpark that is more long stay. Hope this helps! Tracy
