We had a lovely holiday at Hotel Viscardo. We went for 2 weeks end of Sept. to beginning of October. Position is excellent - walking distance to beach about 150m. Walking distance to centre about 300m. 30 minutes from Pisa airport. We used the hire bikes hotel has and rode to see different beach resorts like Marina di Pietrasanta. Roads all flat do easy riding. The reception staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the manager serving was extremely nice and went out of his way to give you what you wanted. Our room with a comfy bed was a little on the small side but very clean. Will definitely return.

Already on arrival I realized that I would spend pleasant days in this hotel. We arrived a few hours before check in but they still made us unload our luggage and put away... offered a coffee and since it was mid-August the gentleman who takes care of the bar... Michele.. gave me a red rose.. like all the other ladies. Michele takes care of the bar and breakfast service... a lovely person... pampered us in tutto.A breakfast always made me find a basket full of gluten free products being I celica. Thanks also to the receptionist Alexia. She gave us lots of advice and was super nice. And finally a special thanks to Andrea... extremely helpful throughout... went out of his way to make us feel at home. However, thanks to all the staff of the hotel... even those we do not see... but who helped make these few days unforgettable. The hotel is not large but makes the holiday more intimate and quiet... the garden is unique... a small corner of paradise... where calm reigns. We will definitely return to VISCARDO.

Great hotel, perfect location. Lovely (soft) bed. Clean sheets every day, small shower but good water jet. Wonderfully quiet at night and yet very close to the center. Very friendly people!!!! Some things about this hotel are very good, some others very bad, hence an average score!
Goods: location, common areas, garden where you have breakfast (great quality and selection), some rooms are really nice (some others quite ugly - a matter of luck!!)
Bads: lot of services are at a price (bike, towels, ...) whilst most of its peers give them for free. Some rooms are really tiny and some of them are in need of a renovation: be careful! Service sometimes was not in line qith the hotel class.

be careful not to serve yourself 2 times in the breakfast. if you have more than 1 cup of juice, you will pay for the next. not normal!!!! we asked for 4 rooms and payed for 4. when we got to the hotel they squeezed into 3 for the same amount...... if you ask for a cup of water from the tab, you will get either charged or a super bad look. never to go back!!!! we were ripped off!

We loved Hotel Viscaro near the beach in the Forte Dei Marmi area. We found the best surprise! A small beautiful elegant hotel in a great location to walk or bike to the beach, restaurants, and great shops. Our favorite part was the warm and friendly staff. They treated us like we were very special and I felt like I was at a five star hotel. Our only regret was that we didn't have the time to stay longer. We can't wait to go back the next time we are in Italy!

Good location, friendly staff, nice restaurant, clean rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. Forte dei Marmi is a very nice place with a beautiful beach. It is also a very expensive place. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk away from the beach and has a jacuzzi on the roof terrace.
