We stayed here for one night as part of a large group touring Italy. We were very impressed. The hotel was clean, spacious and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and included a small table with 2 chairs as well as a balcony. Bed was comfortable. We were happy with check in which took about 30 minutes but as I said we were with a group of about 30 people do we thought this was acceptable. Food was of a good quality and there is a bar area as well as a lovely looking pool and outdoor area although we didn’t use as we got in too late and we are only here overnight. Lastly a shout out to the lovely staff. The young lady at reception was delightful and the chap at the bar was great too. They also helped us with our bags without having to ask. Only (slight) negative is that you can hear some noise from other rooms. Earplugs might be a good idea if you are a light sleeper.

A good stay. Nice room over-looking the main road, mountains in the background. We didn’t hear the road at all. Basic but decent breakfast. Forte dei Marmi is a sweet place, pricey area but nice beaches etc. Lots of parking available and a supermarket near by for supplies. Pool area looked nice but sadly closed in April.

I was placed here with my friend when our flight was cancelled. The Hotel was in such a beautiful spot in the mountains and the pool was fab and the outside seating area The breakfast was massive with so much choice. The only small complaint would be that there were stains on the bedding and pillow cases. They had been washed so wete clean but maybe a time for a change.

We booked late in the evening, without any idea of what the hotel would be like after calling other hotels nearby, all of which were fully booked. We were tired and nervous having arrived by ferry to Livorno with a terrible delay.
Already on the phone, the staff was courteous and when we arrived we were pleased with the proximity to the motorway toll booth and even more with the beautiful room, modern, bright, and comfortable. The ample parking is definitely a bonus, as is the fact that they welcome pets.
Breakfast was the icing on the cake, good quality and choice of sweet and savory, friendly staff. We got to explore the hotel a bit and we thought it was beautiful making us want to return at a better time.

Great hotel in a good location for the motorway and to go down to the seafront, embraced by the mountain views. Clean, fresh and contemporary decor throughout the hotel. Rooms clean and tidy. One negative about the rooms is that the boiling of the kettle is located above 5ft high, apart from that the rooms are very nice. Pool is clean but a bit cool. Restaurant has a good selection of ala carte food at a fair price. All staff very polite. A big plus here also is the ample amount if car parking and electric charging.

It is a pity. Having used this hotels services for a year, always finding staff friendly and helpful,, it was disappointing to witness very poor and ignorant new staff who was neither friendly, helpful and possibly not trained very well.
The circumstances of this encounter need not be elaborated, except to say that I very nearly left my "snack" and glass of wine having encountered such appalling manners and zero courtesy.
I shall though, continue to use the services and hope that the usual friendlier staff will remove this blot experienced this evening.

My wife and I have just returned from a week at this hotel, booked on half-board basis through Jet2holidays. As another reviewer has posted, this is a very disappointing hotel for a number of reasons and I cannot recommend it, other than for an overnight staying if you happen to be passing through. One of the main complaints is the location. It is remote and isolated, being over a mile and a half from the sea front, and the nearest bus stop. It is over 2 miles to the railway station, and about two and a half miles to the town itself. It is situated on a busy main road with no footway, so if you want to walk anywhere you have to brave the traffic, even on side roads. Cycles are available to those who can ride them or those brave enough to cycle in traffic. A very pleasant cycleway is located along the coast road but yo have to get there. Two days before our departure from the UK we received an email to say that the hotal pool had been closed, even though the hotel knew they had pre-booked guests arriving. And due to the distance from any beach, one of the only reasons to remain at the hotel would be to use the pool. It is rated as a 4 star hotel, probably due to its facilities. No doubt the free Tesla charger has some bearing on that! The hotel also shows in each room information folder that there is Sky Sport and Sky Cinema in each room, and even provides the channel numbers. Not so. The only English speaking tv channel, other than Bloomberg, is BBC World News. When you consider that dinner is not served until 7.30pm, and there is nothing else nearby, no bar, no restaurant, no coffee shop, absolutely nothing, then the only thing left is BBC World News. My main complaint, and about which I am writing to the CEO of Jet2holidays, is the food. For a 4 star hotel the food we, and another Jet2 couple - in fact the only other Jet2 couple at the hotel, and also on half-board - was a disgrace. Main courses, whether meat or fish, were served with no accompaniment. When I saw the photograph of a meal posted by reviewer kathyhawthorne, I was amazed to see it had two accompanying vegetables. We were never served with such a meal. Our other Jet 2 guests were also served with uncooked salmon, which was replaced following complaint to the staff, but only with another uncooked salmon (see photo). Bear in mind this was the second salmon to be served and note the absence of any form of accompanying vegetable. The serving staff were helpful but embarrassed, and were left to deal with the customer complaints. There was no sign of the chef, nor any sign of management to deal with any complaint. Not until the following morning was a member of management available, and we were told that the Director was coming in to speak to the chef. We did see a suited individual arrive, but he made no attempt to speak to us or the other couple about any complaint. Very conspicuous by his absence, although you will see that he does respond to positive remarks posted on Tripadvisor, but only from distance it would seem. There is a Jet2 rep in the area but she is only available to attend the hotel if and when required. A telephone call is necessary. She did come to the hotel as requested following the complaints about food and service, and said she would put it in her report. She also had a brief conversation in Italian (she is Italian) with someone from the Reception area of the hotel, but I don't know what was said. What she did say to me that every Jet2 customer had complained about the location of the hotel and she wished that Jet2 did not send further guests to this hotel. Another major problem with this hotel is that on most nights, about 7.30pm, as dinner is about to be served, a coach arrives with 20 or 30 overnight guests. These guests are then seated in the restaurant and are given priority of service. With only 2 young waitresses serving them and us, it follows that on most nights we experienced long delays between courses, with dessert (as it was) on one night not being served until just before 10pm. Dinner is advertised as being between 7.30pm and 10pm, but I did not expect that to mean that's how long it takes! As I said, many of the staff are polite and helpful but there appears to be a serious lack of management or management support for the front-line staff. We were treated like second class citizens, and served second rate food. My letter to Stephen Heapy, the CEO of Jet2, provides more detail than I can list here. In the meantime, all I can say is, do not go to this hotel unless you are content to sit around a closed pool, eat sub-standard food, pay €4 for a bottle of water, €21 for a bottle of house wine, and watch BBC World News for your entertainment. If there are any local excursions, there are none advertised in the hotel, nor in the Jet2 hotel folder. A long walk is needed to go anywhere, even to go by bus or train, unless you take an expensive taxi - €23 to the railway station. Not exactly my idea of a holiday hotel. Nor was it for the other Jet2 couple, who had booked for 2 weeks as an anniversary celebration. They were so disappointed they cancelled their second week and returned home after paying a £400 charge to change flights, etc.

We regret that the Hotel location did not satisfy your expectations; as indicated on our website, the structure is about 2km distant from the sea and the city centre and we are sorry that it represented a discomfort for you and your wife. Inside the structure, there are at guests’ disposal an outdoor restaurant, a large garden and two tennis courts; unfortunately, you did not have the possibility to enjoy our pool, which, due to the end of summer season and the decrease of temperatures, closed in mid-September, information already communicated to the travel agency. For guests who desire to reach the points of interest by bicycles, our staff is always happy to suggest the best way to access the cycle path, which begins about 100 meters far from the Hotel. We apologize for the inconveniences occurred during the dinner; Customer care is a priority in UNA Hotels and we constantly work to offer all our guests the best experience and we regret that, in this occasion, the service provided was not in line with our standards. We are happy to notice that you appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of our staff, who contacted your reference agency and, to mitigate the problem occurred at the restaurant, proposed you to move to UNA Hotel Versilia, our four-star resort closer to the sea or the city centre, solution which unfortunately did not satisfy you. We stayed here for a week after securing a great deal with Expedia and were impressed. Forte dei Marmi is a beautiful and high end resort, this hotel is an accessible way of staying there and is considerably cheaper than the hotels in the town centre. I don't therefore think it's reasonable to complain about the hotel's location. The centre of town is only a two minute drive or slightly longer cycle ride away. During the day you could easily walk but the quiet residential streets that form the route into town are not ideal for walking at night as they are poorly lit and eerily quiet! Our room was clean on arrival and cleaned every day to a very high standard, breakfast was great and served until 10.30 allowing for a lie in when necessary. Staff were incredibly helpful and provided local advice on beach clubs and train times for day trips we wanted to make. We spent most evenings enjoying Forte dei Marmi's beautiful restaurants and bars and really appreciated the fact that we were so close to such a great town. I feel that perhaps for slightly older guests using the hotel simply as a base to explore Tuscany, this advantage may be over-looked. All in all, a highly satisfactory stay.

Lucky you. We contacted our holiday rep who in turn spoke to hotel management to be told dont have this facility.
also couple we met 90 years and 85 years had to take taxi to get english newspaper everyday at a cost of 25 euros each day for 2 weeks. So you are the only lucky one I know during our stay, we returned on tuesday 13th sept after 2 weeks.
