An attentive reception, a very accurate service and a helpful staff, ready to meet the needs of the guests. A stay at the Hotel Franceschi is always an experience of relaxed comfort. The living room and the veranda open onto the garden, a cozy nook always available to guests. In the morning it is particularly pleasant to drink coffee and read the newspaper under the shady gazebo. At happy hour, you will be greeted by our special bartender Donato, who will be able to give you pleasant and carefree moments with his delicious cocktails and his savoir faire. The library is a small place where they can seclude, read, meet or watch television. The Hotel is located in a very peaceful location, just a short walk from the beach and the center. You can easily reach them with our bicycles, which are available for free for our guests.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really nice hotel. We only stayed for one night but it was a good night. The staff were pleasant, breakfast was good, room comfortable and the shower was powerful with lots of toiletries and fluffy towels available. We had a double room with an extra bed for our child and we all slept well. There is a building site next door but we are early risers so it didn’t bother us. The staff were happy to bring us a tray of tea and coffee things to make up some hot drinks in our room. The parking is weird; staff ask for your keys so that they can juggle the cars if they need to. This made leaving the hotel slightly delayed because there isn’t always somebody in the front desk. All in all, a good stay and I’d have happily stayed another night.

We stayed at so many places around the world but the Franceschi we will never forget and we will come back. That is just so a wonderful place. You feel the care about people but also about the hotel. Every detail shows the love how this fantastic hotel is inspiring their guests. The service is outstanding. Always a smile. Please have dinner at the Franceschi. Exceptional food. What a location. We just love it.

This is a wonderful hotel. Very classy. The lobby area is awesome. It has a beautiful garden. The breakfast area was great. And the breakfast was great. People are awesome. The rooms are beautiful . Not much bad to say about this place except the parking area was very small and a little difficult to navigate in. I came here with my son, but I would love to come with my wife. She would love it.

The hotel was really nice with its interiors and also outside with the backyard and the stuff was apparently nice too but they try to mislead you. The rooms are too small for the price, we thought we had ordered a deluxe room but it was too small and not suitable for the price at all. During breakfast for some things you have to pay or they try to make you pay something. We had to pay some orange juice we drunk but nobody told us we had to pay it till the check-out .We paid 3 orange juice for 18€. In the room there is no list price for the drinks and the tv doesn’t work if you don’t call someone from the reception. We don’t recommend the hotel at all because they try to fool you with prices. I am sorry to say that because the hotel is actually nice but they have to fix prices because at the end of the day is a 3 star hotel! Regards!

I recently stayed at this hotel with friends having received a very good deal via tripadvisor. While the hotel is immaculate, central to the resort and in a very quiet location with resonably friendly staff the costs of the drinks from the bar shocked me. I have stayed in many three, four and five star hotels (remember this is a three star) but I have never been charged 20 euros for a gin and tonic, while my friend was charged 15 euros for a vodka and coke. There is no bar menu so if you just put the drinks on the room as I normally do, you end up with a v ery scary bill at the end of your holiday. Big tip to the owners of this hotel is to be transparant and have a bar menu. Tip to travellers, dont drink here unless you are happy to spend double the cost of what these drinks would be in town.

With the warmth of a private home, Villa Franceschi in tony Forte dei Marmi is a wonderful spot for a stay. Hotel accommodations are simple but comfortable, public rooms cosy and spacious. The kitchen is good but hotel is only a short two block walk from the excellent Bistrot restaurant. Rates are reasonable making the Franceschi an excellent choice for visitors to this attractive seaside resort.

We are an American couple based many years in Florence. We recently spent a few nights there while visiting friends who summer there. We were in Room 510 and can say that it was like a high 4 star hotel and not a 3 star. Staff is gracious and Simone was as professional as anyone we have ever encountered. The housekeeping is impeccable. Breakfast is a bit sparse but service excellent and friendly and there is indeed something for everyone.

We had a snafu at checking in time when we arrived at close to 3pm and the woman told us room was not available yet nor would it be fit some time!!! 'Why"? I inquired....'oh the prior guests decided to stay later'. In a few moments she realized this was not acceptable and immediately made a room available to us. It was handled the way it should be. The public rooms are gorgeous and the garden. The street us quiet and there are many bikes at your disposal.

We would happily return to this beautifully maintained and run hotel. Quite often people inquire where we stay and this is an excellent choice! Thank you for a peaceful and lovely stay.

We had never before visited this area we had done the Cinque Terre and Tuscany but what a wonderful private hotel this is ! Dedicated staff who worked hard to improve our stay.200 metres from the sea and 300 to the town centre. Each evening our room was re-serviced and the bed turned down. The Sky box was nice to relax to after a day touring the coast line.If you want an example of customer care we informed the receptionist of our early departure to find our car had been moved and placed in readiness for our departure. We will steer our friends to the hotel it is superb!

We love this place and visit twice a year, the staff are always most welcoming making this our home from home. What is particularly charming is the feeling of faded grandeur and old world romance or maybe that's just Forte di Marmi working her magic...
