The hotel is well situated on the promenade overlooking the beach. The room and balcony faced the sea, the sound of waves very soothing to listen to at night and a far cry from the traffic and other noises present in city hotels. We ate both the evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. Good menu and well presented breakfast choices. Would definitely use the same hotel again.
First time staying here and what a great find. Extremely helpful staff, large bright and airy bar, lounge and restaurant with full glass sliding doors overlooking incredible sea view across the bay. Hotel located between the main promenade and the beach. Parking available nearby. Rooms are large with high ceilings, brightly decorated with good storage, power points, and lighting. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with shower cubicle. Would definitely recommend but I imagine the hotel will be extremely popular in peak season.
Top view by the rooms, top location on the beach, clean beach and crystalline waters, super clients oriented hosts (the family owners) and medium-high cuisine level (for local choices and freshness). More than enough reasons to come to Follonica to Parrini's.
This hotel is ideal for families with babies in August. It is a family run business with many years' experience. They are well supplied with high chairs for tiny diners, and will prepare special baby food - eg pureed carrots,or any other vegetable or fruit. The back door takes you straight onto the beach, which has 5 rows of 10 umbrellas with sun beds. It's a narrow beach -easy to keep an eye out for young 'runners'. The water is shallow for quite a long way out and usually calm. We had only one day of wind and big waves. The coastal road is mainly a pedestrian precinct, so ideal for the evening 'passeggiata'. There are bikes for hire at a local shop, for the more energetic, but it's perfect for a horizontal holiday. Bed, sun bed, swim, interspersed with 3 good meals a day
We were passing through so only stayed a night. Everything was clean and tidy with helpful staff. A little bit dated perhaps but in a nice location. Good for a reasonably priced beach hotel. Nice beds and good solid wi-fi too.
