Couldn't fault this hotel in the town of Conegliano, which is charming. Helpful and friendly staff - especially Lara. Our room size was very generous and unexpected. We wished we had based ourselves here for all of our stay in the region. It was quick to walk to from the train station and would be easy to join tours through the Prosecco hills.
We have stayed at several Conegliano-centre hotels and Canon d'Oro is the best for facilities and location. Staff very helpful. Fantastic shower Very comfortable bed Quiet, even in a room overlooking XX Settembre
We chose this hotel late in the evening after our booked accommodation elsewhere had fallen through. The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with a very nice, clean, comfortable suite for our 2 night stay. The location is good as it is walking distance to the station and in the lovely old town area of Coneglianno. Breakfast had lots of variety was very plentiful. Would definitely recommend.
If you want a hotel with character (15th century building) in the historic part of Conegliano, then there is no better place to stay! The service from the moment we arrived (had my car parked for me), to the day we checked out, was amazing! They couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were very spacious and elegant and had amazing antique furniture and lovely big bathrooms. WIFI was good. Breakfast had a good choice especially with a prosecco (well when in Rome). You could relax out front under a canape or go to the courtyard at the back. The hotel was in front of a quiet one way cobbled road that lead up to the square which has lovely bars and restaurants around it. One evening we decided to walk to the castle behind the hotel and town which was about a 20mins going uphill. Once there, the views were amazing! There is a restaurant there as well for a well earned drink! The main reason why I chose this hotel was because it was a great base to go wine/prosecco tasting at some of the various wineries in that region between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene! Don't get me started on the wineries...if I had an extra...week mama mia! I would definitely recommend this hotel!…
I have nothing but praise for this place. Newly refrubished rooms well above what can be expected for Italian albergos. Good breakfast and nice staff. Very good quality for the price. No English speaking channels on the TV but that’s normal here. The GPS refused to show us a correct route to the hotel so we had to park downtown and stroll for 10 min.
We recently stayed 4 nights here and enjoyed our visit. Its location is very convenient for restaurants and exploring the old part of the city. The logistics with a car were a bit complicated, but the exemplary staff helped with toting bags, parking in the compact private lot (which we reserved ahead and paid extra) etc. etc. Extremely good service!! The room was large and comfortably furnished. Our only quibble with it was the shower/tub arrangement which drenched the bathroom floor after every use, no matter how hard we tried to avoid that. The breakfast buffet was very generous with loads of choices. A/C and Wi/Fi both worked well. One minor suggestion for the planet...how about installing a multi-use heavy plastic tumbler in the bath instead of discarding and replacing disposable plastic glasses each day?…
We stayed 3 night. Room have been very well modernized. Service was great specially since we spoke little Italian. Had a seperb breakfast each morning. They organized bikes to be ready for us at the hotel which was excellent. The morning breakfast for a great way to start our busy days
Airco, fridge, marble-covered walls in the bathroom, friendly, nice location, lots of attractive bars and restaurants nearby, do walk up the hill to the castle. We liked this hotel - the details provided character and the location was great. I recommend.
All in all, we keep coming back to this place because of location, friendly staff and renovated rooms. There is also an outside terrace where we enjoy sitting before calling it a day. Because it is centrally located, we can easily walk to shops and cafes and enjoy the evening strolls.
The hotel itself is ideally located a short walk from the station and has lovely modern rooms. The real gem of this hotel however are their staff. They are lovely to deal with, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was travelling with a 4mth old and 5year old and they could not have been nicer. The breakfast was lovely and the prosecco we drank each evening was lovely. I just wish I'd taken the name of it. I'll definitely be back next January.
