Our pre-cruise stay at the Hotel Traiano was very good. First of all, we had arranged for Alesandro, the hotel’s driver, to pick us up at the Rome airport and drive us to Citivecchia the day before the cruise. He was waiting for us at the airport, helped us with our luggage, and got us to the hotel in about...

The location was close to the pier, restaurants and the centre square. Our room was very spacious and clean. The hotel offered a free schedule to the pier for those who are going to the cruise ships. It's great for precruise stay.

We stayed here pre-cruise. Family room was spacious; staff were very helpful and friendly. We actually walked from the train station but it's a long uphill mile plus trek so not for the faint of heart. We took the free shuttle to the port the next morning --- an effortless transfer. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has free wi-fi...

My son and I stayed here the night before our 11-day cruise. We arranged for a shuttle from the hotel to pick us up at FCO airport. We were given extra hours in the morning to sleep late due to our after midnight arrival and the breakfast choices were great. Upon check out the hotel offers a free door-to-door shuttle...

Stayed for one night before meeting some friends coming off a ship the next day. The rooms were good sized and clean; the staff was efficient and helpful; the breakfast buffet was nice, but with just basics; the cost was reasonable. The location is not quite as close to the center as presented. Overall, the hotel met my expectations and...

Hot and exhausted after our long flight, we were greeted warmly by the lovely Veronica. Though we arrived early, a room was ready for us. Delighted to find friendly and accommodating staff, clean good-sized room, comfy bed, free internet in the lobby, extensive breakfast offerings, and free shuttle service to the port. So glad we decided to stay in Civitavecchia...

Excellent pre-cruise stay. Rooms were roomy and clean, with elevator. Rome airport pick-up was just as arranged and on time! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was one of the best and most extensive we have experienced in Europe(thought we were already on the cruise ship!). Drop-off at the ship was timely. Would recommend to all.

Our Mediterranean cruise began on Sunday and we arrived a day early with plans to stay in our port city of Civitavecchia, about a 45 minute drive from Rome’s Fiumicino airport. Just pulling up to the Hotel Traiano got us excited about our stay. The welcoming reception area was attended by a kind young lady who had everything ready for...
