Spend a night at the Mediterraneo. The hotel is conveniently located between the cruise terminal and the train station, directly at the seaside. Staff is polite and friendly. That's about it for the positive feedbacks. Immediately when you enter the lobby you feel like you are back in the 70s or maybe 60s, with the only major difference that nothing...

We had read similar reviews for this hotel as we had for our two previous hotels - dirty, unhelpful staff, no wifi in rooms. It is the opposite! It is very close to station and on way to cruise terminal. Staff were welcoming and helpful at all steps and the whole hotel is CLEAN! We had a minor issue with...

Lovely Hotel situated across the street from the Sea. Rooms have all be refurbished, spare but comfortable. Expansive breakfast, wi-fi, flat screen tvs in every room. Located about two short blocks from the train station, a very easy walk. I did not find any of the problems listed by other reviewers. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed for one night before joining the ship. Great location right on the front overlooking the sea, but that's about it. Very tired, dark room, not enough lights. Rather limited continental breakfast, and a plastic spoon to stir your coffee, that really sums it up. The whole place could be so much better with a thorough cleaning a few coats...

Stayed here in August 2015. The hotel is a pit. There was vomit on the floor in the passage when we arrived and it was still there when we left. The beds were uncomfortable as the mattresses I think have never been changed. The hotel was not particularly clean. There was a free breakfast in the morning which was not...

We stayed here before going on a Mediterranean Cruise. It was set on the forefront of the beach so the location was excellent. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were helpful and the rooms whilst fairly basic were clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice

Have recently stayed at the Hotel Mediterraneo prior to joining a cruise out of Civitavecchia - booked regular room and received an ocean view room which was perfectly clean and tidy and well laid out with a good bathroom and facilities. Breakfast was serve yourself in the ground floor dining room, only cold, but perfectly good with good hot coffee....
