Arriving at the structure without saying hello or something the lady only took our temperature (due to corona) and aksed after our passports. Afterwards we were brought to the room, obviously the lady was in a hurry. The room was dirty, laundry was dirty. The glass in our bathroom was even used. Dust in room and hallway. Airconditioning not working, holes in mosquitonet. Airconditioning was not being fixed because the lady was again in a hurry. Once dropped off in the room everyone was gone we couldn’t even ask for a coffee to drink on the terrace or at the pool. Every time we wanted to ask the lady something you had to ring a stupid bell. And again she hand’t had time which was a standard answer. We packed our bags and left after we checked our room. It was a mess and dirty. It is a shame that this type room is still in use. And last but not least the lady is very unfriendly and gave me creeps because she behaves and looks like a witch. I wouldn’t even sent my enemies to this place.

If you are in the town of Chieti this is the place to stay. The view towards the coast and the mountains is breathtaking. I was amazed by the warm hospitality of our hostess Anna. Never have I encountered someone so willing to assist, so eager to make our stay there pleasant. And if you're looking for authentic local cuisine, Anna's cooking is second to none.

What a great little find!! Not a fancy hotel but an honest Italian B&B with great service and friendly staff. The owner, Anna, spoke English, and was very helpful as the 5 of consisted of 4 adults and 1 3 year old. Accommodating, as we arrived late from Stanstead, Anna met is with a smile and helped is settle in. The included breakfast consisted of toast/preserves, biscuits and tea or coffe, but for a reasonable amount more Anna is prepared to cook extras to suit. There is a great pool area which was kept open for us hardy English and was a little chilli in September ;-) With Chieti just across the valley, the daytime and evening views from the terrace were very pleasant. Both Chieti and Bucchianico are within a few kilometres and whilst both are great to visit, we found Bucchianico a great place for morning coffee, chemists and supermarket. A car is essential for this B&B.

We stayed at the Agriturismo for 5 days while visiting Chieti. We had different dates initially, and the proprietor was very understanding and flexible in accommodating us in the little apartment we initially booked for the entirety of our stay. Although the the apartment we used was spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony, some slight upgrades to furniture would go a long way. My daughters used a very old sofa bed to sleep in, which was not in the best condition. Towels were not changed once during our stay and the garbage was not emptied. Although we had access to a kitchen in the apartment, it was not well supplied, we did not have 4 glasses. The grounds themselves are lovely, with lots of beautiful plants and flowers, grape vines and fig trees. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and consisted of coffee, warm milk, dry toast and homemade jam and butter every day. Having stayed at other agriturismo's in Molise we were expecting a little more selection, with some fresh pastries at the very least. Upon request we were given some fruit (figs) and yogurt and as a special exception one morning my daughters were given scrambled eggs. Fruit juice was not always available. The pool was clean and we were even supplied with beach towels for our visit to Pescara when we asked. Wifi is supposed to be available free on the property but we could only get a good consistent connection by the pool.

My friend & I recently made a pilgrimage to Abruzzo. Being Catholic, it was important for us to visit sucj places as the Volto Santo (Veronica's Veil) in Manopello, St. Tomas' relics in Ortona, and the Eucharistic Miracolo at San Francesco in Lanciano. With a car, we easily completed our pilgrimage with the help of Anna and her GPS. Everything that we wanted to see was close to the Quadrifoglio. The place was clean, quiet, and the food was the best. We looked forward to Anna's cooking every night that we were there-- apparently, locals even stop by to eat. Dinner is served in a grand dining room (& if you're lucky) which, w/o the tables, can double as a dance ballroom where you may watch the locals dance the tango! If you are double lucky, you can take a cooking class with Anna, where you will learn some of the secret ingedients to her delicious Abbruzzo cooking. We would definately go back & would highly recommend this little place for Italians and internationals, and esp. for tango lovers and pilgrims. John K
