We stayed in the Depardieu suit (I think Gerard likes wine), which has amazing 360 degree views over vineyards and mountains. It must be the largest room we have stayed in and very comfortable. We really enjoyed a wine tasting accompanied with local food and this was provided for us privately in our large room! Breakfasts were very good and...

Create an excuse to search out this jaw dropping converted wine and olive oil estate. You will never forget your room, the surroundings and the building. On every walk inside and out our mouths were hanging open in astonishment at the views, the renovation and the antique equipment. This family had a vision, and executed it to perfection. The value...

This place is so beautiful and the rooms are really nice as well. We had a wine tasting with seven wines and food which was out of this world. Highly recommend this place for a stay or just a wine tasting! The staff is very kind as well and it's easy to park which is a big plus.

We booked a Junior suite and it was worth every penny. The Castle has been sympathetically restored, retaining original features as far as possible and modern conveniences have been discreetly added. We had the most comfortable nights sleep and a splendid Breakfast. The Breakfast room was wonderful - we do hope to return and would request room 3 again -...

I know and love Masciarelli wine, especially the Marina Cvetic label. So when we happened in Abruzzo, It was quick decision to stay at the chateau. The town is located on the top of a mountain and to get there by windy streets was bit scary. The building is amazing. We had regular room and it was very spacious and...

Recommended by a good friend from Abruzzo we weren't disappointed in fact it's a place we will never forget. Idyllic hill top castle with modern and eco friendly renovations and owned by Masciarelli family famous for their Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine. Wine tastings on site. Rooms have been stylishly architected on the 2nd floor with attic style low ceilings and in...

On the top of a mountain in the Abruzzi region of Italy, stands an ancient castle, brought up to date with all mod cons. The scenery was spectacular, the staff were excellent and the rooms were quirky but amazing. Each one different from the other. It's a vineyard with a difference. Pool was lovely and the coffee, I have to...

Me and my husband had the most amazing one night in Castello di Semivicoli. Unfortunately we could not stay longet cause it was fully booked. The homepage and pictures does not give you the experience you will have when you arrive there. We were amazed. New pool is also perfect!!! We had suit next to the church! Wine tasting was...

My family stayed here for one night stopover during a drive to Puglia. I wish we had stayed longer, it was the perfect place. We made a last minute reservation and the hotel upgraded us to a larger suite for free when they saw we were traveling with a baby. Our room was furnished with antiques and included an entrance...

We had a beautiful room with a panoramic view over the mountains and sea. Mix of old and new which overall works well apart from the bathroom sink! Service by all was exceptional - wine tasting excellent and the helpfulness in where to eat and visit was really appreciated. We will be back - thanks for making our stay so...
