Situated in a quiet street this family run hotel has all that we needed. An adequate sized well furnished room with a fully equipped shower room. The main reception and small bar area were less than adequate for a large group/s but nevertheless served its purpose. The dining room situated on the ground floor was spacious and airy, while breakfast...

This hotel has very nice friendly staff is spotlessly clean in a very convenient area for station, town and sea front. But, downfall is the design - old building modernised and leaves rooms with little space. Our bathroom had such large sanitary ware i.e. bidet, toilet very large basin which meant the smallest shower ever seen, with no hooks for...

We stayed here at the end of August as part of a Rail Discoveries holiday. On arrival, my husband and I were allocated a very small room on the first floor overlooking a back corner and with a tiny window overlooking an air condition unit. There was little room around the bed and the en suite accessed by a sliding...

This feels like a Victorian Spa Town Hotel with period charm and modern facilities. It is a few minutes walk from the Rail Station, Town Centre and Promenade. (Using the trains for visiting Rapallo, Cinque Terre and Genoa was easy.) Without exception the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room was good and cleaned extremely well. Food was very...

Stayed on half board with a RailDiscoveries group, in a very hot week.. In an elegant area and well placed for short walk to the old town or the beach. Excellent and quiet room air-conditioning. Tap water drinkable, but room WiFi (30x floor) useless - had to descend to breakfast room (floor below reception) to be able to reach the...

We had a pleasant weeks stay at this hotel (with a group of 24), all the staff were excellent, rooms and hotel were clean at all times. We all enjoyed the food which on the whole was very good. its a medium size hotel close to both the railway station and a short walk from the beach and centre of...

We stayed here for six nights on our Rail Discoveries holiday, visiting three of the Cinque Terre and Genoa. The hotel is very well located, close to the railway station and a pleasant walk to the beach. Our room was pleasant, looking out on a beautiful old villa across the road. The bed linens and towels were sparkling white, bed...

This is a wonderful family hotel to stay in while visiting the Italian Rivera (Cinque Terra, Portofino and Genoa) Train station is a few minutes away. Rooms are modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. Good food, good price, good location.

I wanted to give a more than average rating due to the friendly, cheerful and helpful staff but overall it is an average hotel. Location is good and Chiavari is a nice town with plenty of places to visit and restaurants within easy walking distance as is the beach. However the food as part of a Rail Discoveries tour was...

I would agree with other visitors in that it was close to the station and fairly central to the town. The staff were fine and cheerful and helpful. The room was fine, but the bathroom had a step up which caused a few stubbed toes. The shower was 800 x 800 with a door that met on the corner. Essentially...
