Top Location , service , Ambiente The service in the lounge bar and the restaurant was perfect . The quality also great. In total a Great experience. The price is expensive but it worth for a special dinner or night I would only wish a bit of music in the restaurant . Some classical music not loud but it would... More

This is only a review of the restaurant. My wife and I were on a barge cruise, and the cruise line selected the restaurant at the Abbaye for one of the dinners, based upon past experience and guest feedback. It was an excellent choice. One of the couples on the barge cruise was, in fact, planning to stay at the... More

We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu which was excellent from start to finish. A highlight was the simple yet decadent dessert - we opted out of the chestnut offered asking for something else and were guided to a honey course. Lovely little dots of honey some with tiny flowers atop others with various accompaniments and each was wonderful. The service... More

Every time I come to Dijon I try to go back to l'Abbaye de la Bussiere which is one of my absolute favourite place. Should I need to celebrate a weeding (mine) some day, most probably it will be at l'Abbaye. This is also where my parents have planned a number of celebrations the past years with family members and... More

Absolute hidden gem, if this hotel hadn't had been recommended by friends we wouldn't have found it. The grounds were stunning, food was amazing and staff very attentive! A really relaxing place to visit!

We didn't stay at the hotel but had a small reception in one of the lovely rooms upstairs. It was the music room and it was amazing. We were served Kir Royale and then a lovely assortment of canapes. The grounds are gorgeous. There were to ponies roaming the grounds. This place is decadent.

We had the opportunity to visit the Abbaye as part of a barge tour we were on. I am so glad that this was a stop we got to experience. While we did NOT stay at the Abbaye, we did get an opportunity to explore and see the grounds before and after our dinner. The food was incredible, it seemed... More

We had again lunch at the Abbaye in la Bussière. Lunch was served in the garden, which makes it even better ( although interior of the Abbaye is unbelievable beautiful). Congratulations to the new chef Guillaume Royer and his team: the Michelin star is back! Food was delicious and the sommelier 's wine selection was excellent! Great

This English run hotel is a former Cistercian Abbey, and what a stunning example it is. The Abbey and grounds are both superb and we found the staff and hosts charming and helpful throughout our stay. Safe parking was available and the food was just wonderful, both in the evening and at breakfast, would not hesitate to recommend to others... More
