Considered by first sight to stay the week but moved on the following day.
This place could be so much better by a total make over. Not to change the style but simply to bring this place up to date.
This is a great location on the lake, but we expected more. First, it was quite warm when we were here, and the air conditioning did a very poor job. Next, the carpet as not well cleaned, with dust visible in the corners. Also, the...More

A friend did this journey at the beginning of June. She caught the train from Malpensa Airport, changed at Saronno, and arrived at Como Lago Nord. She then walked down to the ferries, and caught a boat to Cernobbio. Hotel Regina Olga is about two minutes' walk from the ferry - you'll see it straight ahead, with Harry's Bar on your right.
If you don't fancy the ferry (which actually is very nice), you could always get a taxi from the Railway Station to the hotel.
I hope that you enjoy your stay there - we did!
