Cefalu can be very stifling with so many tourists. This hotel was 1.5km away, a pleasant walk by the coast, and in a quiet setting. Room was large, well appointed and had everything we needed. Restaurant is onsite or on the walk to the town.

We stayed at Al Pescatore in the middle of March, and found it to be excellent. The room was a good size with efficient air conditioning/ heating, an very large balcony , and a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. On Saturday morning we walked into town, and were recommended by the owner to go a slightly longer route, turning left out of the hotel and walking gently uphill, passing by an interesting street market, and then pass a traditional cemetery, which is very much worth looking around...give a little change to the man at the entrance! We enjoyed our stay, and would happily return.

We stayed for 3 nights from the 20th to the 22nd of August. The hotel in general is situated not far from the city and it was quite cute and affordable. The breakfast bar had pretty good food, and the WIFI worked better there (but still crappy). The room was okay, the view from our balcony was great! Staff could've been friendlier but they were okay. We had a gigantic 8 seater car and it was always hard to find parking since everyone kept taking the parking spaces... there were no set car spaces per room. Overall an average hotel.

Stayed for a week in September. The hotel was in a good position out of town. We had a large clean room and balcony with table and chairs overlooking the road and sea. The bathroom had a very small shower and was in need of updating. Voices and TV could be heard from adjoining room but didn't disturb us too much. The breakfast was ok. Their croissants were excellent but cereal was not available every day. Coffee was mediocre. A lot of the crockery was chipped. There was a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre along the coast road. Parking was an asset at the hotel. Nice bar attached with food, snacks and ice creams. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights from the 20th to the 22nd of August. Hotel was very average because you had to put the hotel room key in the light and electricity socket for it to work so when you left the air conditioner would shut off. Breakfast was probably the best thing. Wifi was crappy as you had to go outside to use it. Nice balcony and view though. Hard location to find as well.

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Very clean hotel and the staff were very helpful. It is situated about 15 minutes away from the centre, with a very pleasant walk in a promenade by the sea. Our room was of a reasonable size, with a big patio overlooking the road and the sea. The hotel has no lift. Wifi was ok, and parking on site was not a problem. Breakfast was reasonable. Though a bit expensive compared to other hotels we were in in Sicily, I wouldn't mind returning there.

Got a room with balcony, but could see just a glimse of Mediterranean, because of trees. But it is very nice to sit on the balcony a warm summer night. Everything is clean, works and is up to our expectations. 15 minutes walk to "downtown" Breakfast is OK.

When we arrived the car park was full but when we popped in to the hotel the receptionist moved her car to make space for us, which we thought was a very kind thing to do.We stayed at front of the hotel and this had good harbour views but is a bit noisier as it looks over the road. The hotel has a cafe/shop attached which we found served food from early morning to evening time, the lunch time food we had was very good and a lot of the locals seemed to use this cafe which is a good sign. Our room was clean and in good working order, the shower was smaller than the other hotels we stayed at. The breakfast had a large selection of fresh food. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Cefalu was a 10min walk away but was worth the walk. Very good beach and harbour. In the Old part of Cefalu the roads are very narrow but it is a very pretty town. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night. Parking in front of the hotel is good, also the 15 min walk to the old city centre is worth the stroll, but 110 euros for a basic and outdated room, although spacious, was not what I expected. Airconditioning is also placed wrong. Breakfast was ok for Italian standards

Friendly staff, clean compfortabe rooms Breakfast was mediocre. Staff doesn't speak much english (but who cares, I was in Italy, not the Usa!) Loved having an a/c in my room! Large balcony with somewhat of a view. If you don't have a car it's a bit of a walk to town. Overall very enjoyable.
