On the north coast of Sicily, a gem awaits you: Cefalù. The resort is located directly by a sandy beach surrounded by greenery in the middle of a citrus fruit plantation. Discover the picturesque old town and the ambience of the old port. Explore excavations of ancient Roman and Greek sites in the vicinity. But above all: Let yourself be seduced by the sun, sea and pure Italianità.

A beautiful resort in a very attractive setting, small sandy beach, the sea was clean and warm, good for swimming in late October. Our apartment was spacious for 2 people, the bed was very comfortable and excellent shower room. We really enjoyed our break after travelling around Italy by train. We bought food in the small shop, cooked, did washing and sat in the sun on our terrace. Cefalu itself is gorgeous and very interesting. The only downside was that it was quite far from Cefalu station and the bus service was rather unreliable.

The resort is beautiful with very nice gardens. Nice beach facility at the small beach. It was late October so very quiet. Pool area nice with a bar both at the beach and at the pool. The apartment, level 7, gave a nice view. The apartment itself is however very small. The lounge, dining, kitchen area is too small leaving half the utensils in a low cupboard near the window. Minute bathroom and toilet. Nice terrace of good size. The bedroom was the contradiction as that was the largest we have so far seen in Hapimag. Reception helpful and 24 hr available. Enough parking in a secure area. The shop is the bare minimum but a new MD supermarket nearby on the right side of the road to Cefalu. There is a restaurant with excellent service and a large menu. However given the great places we found in Cefalu the quality was not the best we experienced

Hapimag' as usual maintain the good accommodation and quality standards in this resort, however for the service especially during the welcome /check in, I can not say the same..They could be more polite /kind to the new arrivals, explain more about the amenities and the resort rules etc..But when look at the overall score it was good , we had a very pleasant stay.

This is the nicest of the three Hapimag resorts I've stayed in, partly because the resort has been built around old lemon and orange groves and landscaped very well. The restaurant, while not cheap, is excellent. There is a fairly small but adequate beach, good pool with great views and lots of places to wander around or just sit and take in the scenery. The downsides are that it's too far from Cefalu to walk or take a bus back at night, and without a car I think you'd be a bit stuck, although there are a series of excursions. For English or French guests not used to Hapimag, there aren't that many people who speak English, but you can get by without Italian or German. The level of accommodation is not as comfortable as you might wish - quite hard beds, very basic bathroom, kitchen layout that doesn't leave much space - but it works and providing you can mostly be outside, it's ok. We had one veranda that you could sit on even when raining but the other one had a leaky awning and got quite dangerous after a lot of rain. It took several days to fix an air con fault. Beach bar was a bit depressing and didn't have very good food - much more could be made of this. Exercise classes were good - it was hard to find out about these in advance - and there were several excursions offered. I would go there again, partly because the area around Cefalu is stunning and interesting. But I would not drive from Catania again, especially in the Friday evening rush-hour. It is much better to fly to Palermo.

The site is easily accessed and the staff were extremely friendly. The beach was nothing great but adequate and the restaurant was good. The staff trhere were particularly accommodating. The shop was adequately stocked and the people running it very fiendly and helpful. Cefalù itself is delightful and well worth a visit and the surrounding area is superb for anyone interested in art and architecture.
