Cozy and clean hotel, with very service minded staff and great location. Breakfast better than in most hotels in Italy, but still quite “sugary”. Stayed for one night with our 11 month old and had a lovely stay. Parking service was very easy and communication with reception just perfect. Recommended!
We stayed here in the summer, but it can not be reached by car. Waiting for taxi’s took us around 40 minutes each time. I would not stay in old town, unless you have no luggage and you can walk. Also the airco in the hotel does not work well. On the plus side it is a nice location however I will never be going back.
Great location, bad service. Air conditioning wasn't working properly, erratic noise and limited cooling. Asked the front desk person to have it checked. Nothing was done or communicated. Asked the same person again the next morning. When I checked back in the afternoon a different front desk person said that the morning person decided it was fine herself and did nothing. AC couldn't cool below 25C (77F). She said that she couldn't do anything further. Ugh. Started checking out the AC myself. Found that the incoming air filter was completely covered in 1/4" of dust/debris. Cleaned it up and the air conditioner worked perfectly, quiet and quickly cooled down. I slept quite poorly for two nights. If the response had been better I would have had no issue but nothing was done or communicated. A guest shouldn't have to bring up an issue twice nor be responsible to clean out an air conditioner. Very messy job without a vacuum.…
A characterful small hotel where we booked a junior suite on the upper most floor. It had a reasonably sized balcony with a view up towards the cathedral. The front desk service was a little formal but friendly enough. The hotel benefits from some free secure car parking 900 m away in the new town. The room was a decent size up in the eaves of the hotel. A little annoyingly however was that the mini bar was not stocked with water (the tap water was disgusting) and there was no tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was pre-ordered and was substantial.
Lovely boutique hotel with few rooms in the old part of the city. If you drive there, you park in a lot far away but they send a taxi to bring you back to the hotel. It's right where you want to be near the sea, near the cathedral. We loved it.
Our first stop of Sicilian anniversary trip was Cefalu and this wonderful, super clean rooms and friendly happy family owned hotel with a great selection breakfast Room was not only very clean but bright and comfortable with nice bathroom Shower is small but guess it’s normal size for resort town And this wonderful hotel has parking bu5 the only challenge was driving thru super narrow crowded streets to get to parking but friendly Siciliian people were happy to direct us and guide us and at parking hotel car picks you up Definitely will return for longer stay
The hotel was great and the staff was super helpful with restaurant, activity and other recommendations. Nice and quiet; and clean rooms, also very comfortable. Great location, very central in the older park of cefalu, would stay again!!
Lovely hotel, little oasis. Rooms clean and pretty. Staff very accommodating, very friendly & helpful. Points of interest are all in easy walking distance. Plenty of shops & restaurants too. Highly recommend if staying in Cefalù.
Cefalu is a pretty touristy town, and was quite crowded when we were there in May. So it was nice to escape into our lovely hotel and go on our little balcony overlooking all the crowds of people. We booked the top floor 2-level suite (the website isn't very clear about the room and the website photo seems to show a bed on the upstairs level, but ours had 2 chairs and an armoire up on that floor - the bedroom is on the lower floor.) Anyway, the best thing about that suite is of course the private balcony with seating. The staff are lovely. Breakfast was fine. Because the hotel is in the car-free zone, you park off-site and the hotel sends a taxi to collect you, which worked very well.
We enjoyed 3 nights in Cefalu staying at La Plumeria. The staff were friendly and helpful offering advice on how to reach nearby destinations, and the breakfasts were excellent. Our room (#204) was a bit on the small side and had only one chair, which we needed to use as a luggage rack; but other than, that the bed was comfortable and the small balcony overlooking a tiny side street was nice.
