The place could be perfect if it were a little more tidy. The rooms are acceptable, a little small because of the sub-room in the room. The B&B is really meant for a family not for couples. However since it is out of town the environment is quite.

We stayed two nights in one of the top chalets which was sited a number of steps above the carpark but had an amazing view across the sea to Cefalu from the deck. The chalet were basic but spacious with a separate bedroom and kitchen/ living room but we spent most of our time relaxing on the deck. Breakfast was fine and you were able to order scrambled eggs. Driving access tricky but fine for coming from or going in the direction of Cefalu – just be sure you have google mapped it beforehand so you are prepared for the turn into the drive.

I stayed 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. We were very happy. The place is very quiet and ideal to relax in the middle of nature. The place was well equipped and very clean. The staff was friendly and keen to help when needed. But the best was the fantastic view on the see as soon as you open your room in the morning.

Mare Blu is a dream of a place to stay near Cefalù. It feels like a laid-back Caribbean resort. Our room looked out onto the sea and you could see Cefalù in the distance. Mare Blu is an open and airy place where the manager really does want you to enjoy yourself. In fact, all of the staff are very nice. The location, five minutes drive from Cefalù, is perfect: within striking distance of the hustle-bustle but a world away in terms of relaxation. The breakfast was wonderful, too, with scrambled eggs offered and bottomless good coffee, in addition to four different homemade jams. It’s a very special place that’s very hard to leave.

A truly wonderful location with 180° views of the sea and islands. Yolanda and Roberto run a very comfortable B&B in the midst of an olive grove just 2 km from Cefalu proper.m they even allowed our group of 4 adult sisters and spouses to use the big outdoor common kitchen and refrigerators to make our meals (breakfast was provided by them, including eggs and meat and cheese if you want it). We all stayed in the "chalets", which included bedroom, bath, kitchenette with large fridge, and seating area, along with ample front porches with full sea views. Guisi, who thoughtfully takes care of guests, makes breakfasts, cleans rooms and dispenses wonderful advice (including where to buy the best birthday cake in town, spot on) is truly a unique phenomenon. No matter how long your stay, you will want to take her home with you when you leave. Fair warning - you will need a car (there's plenty of parking at the inn, which is pretty rare in this part of the world). The road into town has no room for pedestrians or bikes, so you must drive into Cefalù. There can also be mosquitos, although all units have A/C so you can close them up, and I know they are working on getting screens for Windows and doors. For extra fun, buy some of their handmade olive oil to bring home, and/or get a massage from Roberto. Can't be beat.

This is outside Cefalu and in a very quiet spot even though it is above the handy coast road - no noise (few cars!) We stayed in a cabin with a kitchen and wooden verandah with a 12/10 view of the ocean - we felt we could see the curvature of the earth. Short walk to beach for lovely sea swimming - clear water and nobody else there. All staff very helpful and breakfast first class - (they fry or scramble eggs for you!) Honesty box beer fridge and they even gave us a cabin free for the day we left as we had a night ferry out of Palermo. A memory of Sicily we will cherish. Book in and clear your head!

Nice quiet spot overlooking a bay and beach. Stunning views, lovely owners and a great outdoor breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean. Walked down the hill and found the beach for a swim. Owner's have a restaurant in the heart of Cefalu which was excellent Sicilian Cuisine. Would love to stay again!

The cottages offer a wonderful view over the sea. The estate is rural and basic, but very charming. Location is fantastic, just 5 min out of town. The offered breakfast is more than sufficient. The owner is very helpful. They own a nice tasty restaurant in town and give 10 % discount for hotel guests.

We liked sea view from room, which was surrounded by olive grove. Breakfast was excellent, as was the staff. The wifi is only available near reception/common area, but that did not bother us. There are take-now-pay-later fridges with cold drinks (including beer and wine), so you can quench your thirst when it strikes you.
