Small hotel. Simple but very adequate facilities. Good decoration. Helpful owner/ manager assisted getting my wheelchair in. I managed the stairs. Great breakfast with choice of pastries and excellent coffee. I got in via the street entrance at the back. Easier than the steep staircase from 1st floor. €110 for bed & breakfast in this charming hotel was well worth it. Hotel is located inside the pedestrianised mediaeval walled town. Lots of good restaurants and bars. Lots of parking outside the walls. But not a long walk. The proprietor was effusively welcoming. Remembering us from 2 years previously. We will be back.
Last visited Castiglione 46 years ago. As pretty as I remember. On way from Genoa to Ancona. This place is small, well decorated, cool. Marble floors, great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great value for money.
Great Hotel with nice rooms and hot shower. Rooms are spotless and have AC. Breakfast in the morning is amazing lots of fresh fruit and a variety of breads. Can’t say enough about the cappuccino it was fabulous we had it every morning and was always perfect. Staff (Roberto and Simona) are very helpful, we asked for the train to Rome and Simona printed it out for us date’s and time. Hotel is close to restaurants in the village. And close driving distance to Siena, Pisa, Florence.
Pretty nice and good hotel, clean, good and comfort equipment. Very helpful and familiar staff . Location in historical center with good accessibility. Reach breakfast included. Around a lot bars and restaurants and historical monuments. Close lake beach. With ship public transportation you could visit lake islands.
Could not of asked for anything better, gorgeous and perfect location hidden in the castle walls surrounded by beautiful restaurants, wine cellars and markets. Lovely walk away from Lake Side. Staff are also amazing, so friendly and helpful!
