Great location in middle of Tuscany in a charming small town Spacious and comfortable rooms - supplement buys a lovely view over the hills Excellent service - ask Irene for a hot chocolate - it's the best! Restaurants over the road well worth eating at and serve til late (we arrived about 1130pm) Pity the outside pool wasn't heated but...

Wonderful stay. The owner and the whole staff made us feel welcome. Irene was especially helpful. Beautiful little village and terrific atmosphere, surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany. Spa was relaxing, too! Would definitely book here again.

Just got back from a fantastic Italian vacation. We stayed at the Palazzo Squarcialupi for 2 nights on our trip in between Florence and Rome. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and Castellina in Chianti is a charming, quaint town. Our room faced the street, but it was still quiet and had character (exposed wood beam ceilings and...

The facility is beautiful, the rooms are huge and well appointed. The staff are wonderful, they provided great information on travelling to Siena. Resturants were within walking distance. as well of...

We had a little LR with a nicely tiled bath w/shower (bigger than most but still small)...what is it with the little linen towels in the bathroom, unusual.. almost big enough to do up your hair but like paper. But nice...

As 2 couples we stayed for 5 nights after visiting the lakes and we felt that we had chosen the best possible spot in Tuscany being close to both Siena and plenty of lovely small towns - Radda,Greve and Gaiole and the larger town of San Gimignano and Volterra - all worth visiting. All the hotel rooms looked to be...

I can't say enough about this hotel. The location was beautiful. The rooms fabulous. Waking up and looking out the window on the Tuscan landscape...a view I will never forget. We loved the spa and jacuzzi. A great find.

The Palazzo Squarcialupi is without doubt one of the best we have stayed at in Tuscany. This was our second visit to the hotel and we found it even better than before. The service provided at the front desk is second to none. The room was spacious and well equipped and the atmosphere of the hotel very informal yet efficient....
