We stayed here three nights while visiting Chianti wine country. The hotel is quite nice and the staff friendly and helpful; making us reservations for winery tours, dinner, etc. However, we stayed in what was billed as the Superior Double room, and it seemed quite small to me. Much of the room space was taken up by a walk-in closet,...

Our stay at Hotel Salivolpi was great! We had the superior double room which was amazing! This hotel was what I pictured Tuscany to be. Amazing area outside with a swimming pool. Short walk down to Castellina. Pizza restaurant right by the hotel was nice. We went to the free wine tasting and symposium one night, and it was probably...

We had a very relaxing family holiday here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially helpful with my fussy teens vegan diet. The rooms were clean and furnished with antique furniture. We stayed in the annex part which was quiet with only four rooms in it, and a nice patio area to sit. The hotel was a picturesque spot...

This hotel's location offered everything we were looking for in Tuscany. It's very close by the town Castello in Chianti which has a very cute small town center located inside the town castle with local wine shops where you can also have a nice meal. Hotel rooms are decorated very nicely in Tuscan style and the hotel is surrounded by...

First and foremost, the three star rating is not because this hotel is deficient in any major respect. The rooms are large enough. The pillows are the softest I had during this trip to Italy, and the olive oil bath products are fantastic. No, the less than perfect rating is due to little things, many of which are personal preferences...

Stayed at this hotel while traveling through Tuscany for four nights, intended to only stay for three but we liked it so much we added another night. Room was very clean and very charming, staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning with a good variety...

The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms have the charm of Toscany. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is good although it has not too much choice and is every day the same. Since it was too cold, we could not use the pool. The environment around the hotel is quiet and nice. Of course you...

Stayed overnight in April 2016. Very nice hotel that was formerly a farm house. Grounds were beautiful. We had an economy room which had a great double bed and bath in room. Couldn't have asked for more, hotel was a great value. The hotel owns another property that is on a winery. We visited tasting room in town that was...

This three star hotel just outside Castellina in Chianti is a former farmhouse converted into a warm and friendly lodging. You feel as if you have just walked into Nonna's house with the country furnishings and ambiance. The generous breakfast is served in a little cottage behind the main house and is quite charming. This would be a good place...
