Looking for a quick 1 night stay while travelling through Brescia, I chose the hotel thanks to its 4 star description. It is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel, 3 star at best in its heyday.. The room was pretty dark (not like in the publicity photo) and so couldn't really tell how clean it was. The booger complete with nose hair stuck on the wall above a bed is a good indicator though. There was a fairly musty smell to the room as if it hadn't been aired in ages. The whole room was very old, the newest thing was the paint job, everything else was from the 80's at least. We had a room facing the main road, and the flimsy windows couldn't block out the traffic noise during the night. The air conditioner was the type with a manual fan speed switch, which of course had the knob removed, so you couldn't regulate the fan speed, so if its stuck on max. u freeze. Bed comfort was ok (for a 3 star). Breakfast has 2 options - quick croissant, cappuccino, and juice, or full buffet. Unfortunately not much more offered at the buffet, only found bread, jams, cereal, and yogurt. No cold cuts or cheeses. I also chose the hotel because it advertised secure underground parking, but when I asked about it, I was told to park outside the front of the hotel..

Stayed at this hotel 5 years ago. Still has friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious facilities, good variety at the breakfast buffet. The location is ideal for visiting Lake Como, Lake Garda and Verona, also station with trains to Milan and Venice a short bus ride away. For motor enthusiasts the famous Mille Miglia museum is a few minutes along the road.

We tried a few hotels here before picking this one and i must say it was mainly the lovely man at the front desk and the secure underground parking that made me choose it. The room is clean and a good size and it has everything you need. Even a fridge. We just rocked up and paid 57 euro. Perfect :) This is a good road to be on as you can get in and out of this busy place easily.

If you go Brescia on business by car, the Ai Ronchi Motor Hotel is the right place for you to stay there. There is enough parking space around hotel and a fuel station near by. The hotel is clean and well furnished. Rooms are tidy and clean. There is nice view around. It's easy to get to the city center from the hotel. If you need to buy something, there is a supermarket just 5 or 10 minutes walk. If i come to Brescia again, I will stay in that very hotel.

Stayed here for five nights while touring northern Italy. Really nice hotel with secure parking for our classic car. Rooms and public areas all spotless, very good continental breakfast selection. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Brescia is on the train line for Venice to the east and Milan to the west so a great base for sightseeing. Lake Garda is twenty minutes away and Verona further on.

Ai Rochi hotel was a 4 stars hotel perhaps in the fifties last century but now is 1 or maximum 2 stars. It is old with very old furniture and beds. The TV is also old with a universal remote control which is kaput. Avoid unless there is no other solution.
