Location of b&b is convenient , walking distance from all sights in Brescia , nice quiet neighborhood, good breakfast, rooms spacious, and clean , nice hosts that are helpful and accomodating . Thanks for a beautiful stay!
A wonderful B and B on a quiet street near the station and the old city. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing a most excllent breakfast of the highest and freshest quality, including delicious pastries and cheeses. The room was spacious and very clean; excellent bathroom; the ony niggle was that the towels and sheets smelt of smoke- this needs a bit of atttention but we will forgive them for being so amazing! beautiful town too, well worth a viist.
You are always a little nervous when a property has glowing reviews, but in the case of Corso Matteotti this is absolutely justified and well deserved. The owners are incredibly friendly, despite their total lack of English and my rather limited Italian we got by. Eduardo even recommended me to 3 restaurants, one of them was my choice and it was simply superb. The room (4) was very spacious, incredibly clean and of high quality fittings and finishes. They only have 4 rooms (I think) but I can guess all rooms are of the same high standard. Breakfast was lovely, nice and fresh continental breakfast, perfect. Don't expect anything else, it is Italy, but they did have cold ham and cheese as well as cereals and fruits. I just hope that I will be back in Brescia with work again, there is no doubt in my mind where I would want to stay. And what a lovely little town it is too!…
Friendly family run B&B. Clean throughout, good breakfast selection and very helpful owners who helped us with where to park and eat. Close to town centre. Brescia is a quieter city but with some very interesting Roman remains.
The owners were super friendly and welcoming. Although their English was not much better than my Italian (minimal) we got along very well. I could park the rental car in the small alley right outside my room for free. They gave me a map and marked all the places I should visit. Train station, city centre and Metro are all within walking distance. The breakfast was fantastic and was the perfect start into the new day. The room was nice and had everything I needed. Minor downside: The small alley did not allow much daylight to come in and the single bed was really small and soft for a big guy like myself. This place is really a hidden treasure and can be highly recommended.
I stay in this B&B for 2 nights.Owner of B&B are kindly and helpfull people,Room is clean and comfy. If I go again to Brescia I am sure my preference will be this B&B.I strongly recommend it.Ohhh by the way , and good breakfast of course.
This B & B is very pretty and located in the center of Brescia. It is very close to restaurants and monuments of Brescia. We enjoyed our short stay very much! Lovely room, very clean and air conditioning:).
The location is good, with easy access to the main attractions, just a 15-minute walk to the UNESCO sites. We enjoyed this B&B. The owners are delightful. Our room was really nice and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. There were power outlets on each side of the bed, but we had to unplug the nightstand lamp to use them. A simple power hub on each nightstand would solve this problem and allow two people to charge phones and devices at bedside. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo with only slight mold in the tile grout. Other than that, this was an immaculate place. The water pressure was good and the hot water stayed hot. The only negative was that the towels smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. The free WiFi worked well. There's a parking space directly in front, which can be reserved. I might stay here again if I happen to return to Brescia. …
Excellent location, Eva & Eduardo good hosts, excellent breakfast, spotless and very attractive room and bathroom. Generally really excellent. Would comment that hosts appeared to have nowhere to go in building and sat in breakfast room, leaving us feeling a little pressured to eat up and vacate the room! But it was 10am!
The hosts were excellent at speaking English and very helpful. Our room was re-furbished and clean as was the rest of the B@B. Location was a little seedy and a bit hard to find as the name of the place was only small on the front wall. The breakfast was out of this world. All home baked goods and lots to choose from. We were meet by the owners who carried all our bags up 3 flights of stairs to our awaiting rooms and were a little disappointed when we carried them down ourselves. Rooms were very quiet and beds were very comfortable.
