The room was average reception would not supply extra pillows and breakfast was poor coffee and cereal. One day on return to hotel after being out for the day the person at reception I believe was the manager was abusive and physically threateningly over where I momentarily parked my car in a yellow marked parking spot at the front of the hotel while waiting for a parking spot to come available. This person needs to take some lessons in customer relations and learn how to speak to people. I would advise everybody to avoid this hotel there are better places to stay that have staff that are pleasant to deal with.I would like to add that night there were other cars parked in this parking spot overnight. The reception person/ manager also refused delivery of a package for me from DHL which I had previously organised with them to accept on my behalf.…
Stayed here one night on the way to the Dolomites. Friendly staff, quick check in despite late arrival. We were given a larger room . Breakfast was substantial. Near to motorway. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel.
Hotel is near metro volta probably 10 min walk. Metro connect you to city centre and train station.. Hotel is not in city centre area by as said with metro connectivity is good.. i stay in room b.. which is decent in size, clean has functioning TV watched euro cup matches wifi connectivity is there... near there is big super market you can buy whatever u want.. hotel staff was good atleast to me.. bathroom was clean ..all in all had a nice experience.. i recommend it..
You get what you pay for - so my expectations were adjusted to take this into account. We picked the hotel due to good road access (as travelling on to Lake Garda after) and proximity to the metro (5 mins walk) the metro is cheap and excellent - whisking you quickly into what is a gorgeous city. We visited to see the start of the Mille Miglia classic car race - and the hotel was a good base for this. We found the room to be functional and clean, with a decent shower. Don't expect a view and there is some road noise - but we slept well here. Parking is free and outside of the hotel, and although the area is not pretty, it has amenities and is great for accessing public transport - and we felt safe. Breakfast varied on the two days we stayed - with yoghurts and cheeses one day, and cereal, hot drinks and pastries on both days - ok, its not luxurious, but its a start to the day, and was included in the room rate. Although I would be tempted to stay more centrally next time, we had no problems with Hotel Della Volta.…
Budget place, not far from road, in the middle of strange quarter near industrial zone. The breakfast is poor !!! Recomend not pay extra fee for breakfast, 50 meters from hotel HUGE supermarket where you can buy everything by less money. Bar without beer, only strong alcohol, but near hotel bar with beer and soft drinks.
Reception speaks some English ... Breakfast option good ... but cheaper if you find out and about ; which is plentiful in Italy ... I did like that large room windows open ... optional Nice large grocery store just across the street and a Chinese owned ' everything ' store ... I've read some bad reviews for this place but often I find ... people expect too much and DEMAND things go their way ... and when they don't they write a bad review ... Metro station is a mere 10 minutes walk ( left on the street beyond the grocery store ) ... Very convenient for someone without a car as myself ... You leave the key at desk as you leave and they let you in if it is after hours ... ( just ring the doorbell ) I had no problems ... Recommended .
I have never experienced such horrible service in a hotel. Good Thing The only good thing is that the room is slightly decent for the price. Bad Things - We experienced racism from hotel staff. I suggest if you are of Afro Caribbean decent , this is not the hotel to go to . There is so many things that didn't make sense -They said we had to stay outside the hotel because the cleaner was moping - On our last day they said they wont give us to WIFI code , and they didnt explain the reason why I expectto be treated with respect as I am paying to stay there - Wifi is only for 5 hours at a time. Once it runs out you must go to the desk and ask for another wifi username and password - Breakfast is literally small bread roles , 1 type of cake and croissant . Dont expect a true continental breakfast In conclusion : Didnt enjoy my stay, breakfast very minimal , staff are very rude including the cleaners…
For the price it wasn't too bad and free parking outside the door. The male receptionist was a friendly chap with a good grasp of English. The bed was not good, hard mattress on a flat pack type frame(a cheap one at that) and a very thin blanket type thing. The room itself was clean enough and the tv was working fine. The bathroom was clean although i had to reattach the shower head to the wall and half the shower door came off its runner.Breakfast was the usual cereal and rolls affair, coffee machine supplying endless amounts not very inspiring at all but did the job.I was only staying the one night so not a problem, would not like to stay too long on that bed.It cost 45 Euros for a single room,55 for a twin. The Wifi was free and connected brilliantly.
i stayed in this hotel from 30 june to 4 july.the hotel is very nice.it's a small hotel but the room is clean and also there is ac.The breakfast is a little poor with little varieties But anyway the price is very convenient.a hotel in line with quality and price.Wi-fi gratis.in front of the hotel there is a super market also near there are some good restaurants. For business travel i would recommend this hotel
Price was low average but location, quality and service very poor. In an unattractive industrial area at least an hour away from the pretty lakes. Not as represented. We rented 2 rooms in high summer. One reeked of cheap perfume, the other one had a broken air conditioner and faced the noisy street. When we asked for help the desk clerk was very condescending and rude, at one point he stated,"I don't care, I'm not the owner.". Breakfast was poor, just a few packages of processed hard bread/cookies and cereal without proper dishes or utensils to eat with. Again when we asked the staff for anything he brushed us off rudely and refused to help. The bathrooms were small but clean.
